It depends, I myself hate my UPS So SSC already arranged to have my orders sent by Fed Ex. I''ve been doing this for over a year with them and so far if they get it in the middle of the week then I usually get it by the end of the week. It's only a few bucks more, but what I like is that I can always just have my Fed Ex store hold it for me if I'm not at home to sign.

But that's my process. I'm not sure how anyone else's UPS is like. Mine's the worst.

Again this is all on SSC, if they don't get it the day they give me, then I'm screwed like anyone else. However, since Catwoman and ASM, I've seen SSC pretty accurate with the date they tell me, give or take maybe a day or two off at times, but still within the week they say they will charge me.

My UPS and FedEx are usually great, but last week when my BW arrived ( I work nights and sleep days so luckily I was awake) truck pulled up he dropped off another package got back in his truck and was getting ready to drive off when I came out. He said since there was only one doorbell he did not know what to do?!?!?!? I told him ring the door bell,...other than that they have been pretty good. Now the USPS - that's an entire other story!!!

Oh cool, good to know. I don't remember seeing the shipping option, but I'd take UPS over USPS any day.

Fed Ex is perfect for my schedule

I used to be able to leave a signed release for UPS if a delivery was scheduled when no one was home. I would just write the tracking # and shipping company name on a piece of paper, write a short statement saying I accepted full responsibility for the package if left, sign and date it, fold it, and tape it to the front door labeled "UPS". My driver would take the note and leave the package. They stopped allowing that a couple of months ago, however.
