Re: Robin Williams Dead.

Death to Smoochy, Mrs Doubtfire, Hook and the Birdcage are some of my favorite movies. Its very sad news about Robin Williams.

This one was a tough one to swallow. Was one of my favorite actors. I still can't wrap my head around it. Will always him by this movie.

Deaths of celebs don't really bother me. I might feel sad for them and their families while hoping their families can find peace quickly. This picture kind of sums how I feel. I want to hug Robin Williams and thank him for so many laughs over the years because right now I am truly sad over the loss of someone I never met.

I was out today and my phone died on me, so, I came home and I plugged it in. The first thing to pop up onto my screen when it turned on was a notification from The New York Times, and my heart just sank. Sometimes I see people who say, "who cares? Everybody dies," and things of that ilk, whenever a celebrity dies, and, in some ways, I think that they're doing a tremendous disservice to these people, and just how much they impact our lives. Take Mr. Williams, the entire reason for his notoriety was that he made people laugh; he was good at it. Sure, there were his more serious turns as an actor, at times, but that's not what defined his career. This was a man who made it his life's mission to make people happy.

I just think, "out of the countless people who saw his movies, how many may have been battling depression, or contemplating doing what he is suspected to have done?" Even one person who may have broken up all of those bad days with one of his films, and how much of a difference the laughter they felt that day may have impacted them. There would be a brutal irony to this, if that were the case. I don't know...it just breaks my heart to know that a guy who have so much happiness to so many people couldn't feel it in his own life.

Sad news, he was a great actor. I didn't know he was such a batman fan and after reading those articles I'm sorry he never got the chance to go toe to toe with the bat.

was not only a comic actor who can forget his role in AWAKENINGS AND THE FISHER KING? :monkey2:monkey2

Ughhhhhhhh

I wake up to news photos of 7 year olds holding decapitated heads and now I go to sleep with knowing RW took his own life.
