Yeah thats a good question,i'm sure somebody around here knows.Thats why i always liked Commander Gree's color,thought they could've modeled Scout troopers after him.

From a production standpoint I think it was just a stylistic thing.

From an overthinking geek standpoint; I think the white armoured troopers follow the Palpatine Rule-By-Fear philosophy (or was that the Tarkin Doctrine? Whatever.)

i.e. They *wanted* their troops to be conspicuous in an arrogant display of overwhelming force.

I'm gonna go with stylistic.

I gotta agree about the price being crazy on the speeder bike. I too paid $49.99 back in the day for the Target exclusives. I know I will prolly get one. But I am not happy about paying that price.

Both were pretty warped out of the box. The figure and bike are really pliable. It's an easy fix and can be done in under a minute.

These really do look excellent. I hope they release a basic biker scout soon. I only want one bike, but multiple scouts!
