Agree 100% , I just hate how people are blasting XM on facebook, if they really wanted to secure before hand they could have, and its not XMs fault they cant sell in US I just hope all these bad comments dont discourage XM because they are awesome and love there work so far!

Really? I'm not on FB, what are they blasting them for?

No kidding. Instructions were on every other page in this thread. There were several warnings this would be a sellout.

I definitely knew this would be popular and sell out, what I didn't expect was it to sell out in minutes / hours EVERYWHERE. I just figured that wouldn't happen since so many people have complained about the cost. Incorrectly assumed a near $1000 price tag was enough to keep so many people away that it would last at least a few days or a week. The popularity is not surprising. The hysteria is a bit surprising.

nemenforcer - i agree with you on all counts. looking for help on the XM magneto if someone is cancelling from Simply toys because they booked their order through BBTS ( Shipping is cheaper through BBTS to USA), then I am willing to pick the Simply Toys pre order from them. I am not looking to pick the coin and can get it sent to the folks if they want to at no additional charge.

If I end up getting one through bbts or specfiction, I will gladly transfer you my simply toys order, but it's not looking likely. So just follow the thread, if I secure one elsewhere, I'll be posting about it here.

Very true. Captain America was a warning and some of us headed it. How many people were on here gaming...oh im gonna save all this money by waiting and seeing and comparing all my options. XM is expensive. XM is quality. If you want one, you should get one when available. If not, its cool, not the end of the world. SS will eventually do a PJ Magneto

Saying **** XM for not being able to do US orders. Even though they keep mentioning it's in the contract.

If you hate that **** so much take it up with Marvel's license.

People like that make me want to punch them in the throat.

Yeah me too. That's totally uncalled for. Some people are just so damn ignorant.

It's the sense of self entitlement that is so prevalent in today's society/generation. People think they are owed something from this world and when it doesn't work out the way they want it to, they b!t-ch and moan and complain. Eventually, they will grow up and learn. :lecture

<getting off my soapbox now>

What puts this Magneto over the top of everything I have seen for years and makes it extra-ordinary is the brilliant idea of making his seat/throne a destroyed Sentinel hand with the Xavier emblem and piece of the X-Jet blackbird molded in. It's just incredible!! Kudos to XM for having that kind of vision, art direction and execution. Then they give us multiple display options. :clap

Guaranteed to bring all eyes to it when people enter your display room. :thud:

Sideshow ****ed up big time by not making a Mags in 1:4 scale yet, to busy making endless Hulks and Iron mans.

XM has shown them how it's done.

Yep the people who missed out on this will have to "settle" for Sideshow. The kings of the statue industry. Everybody is looking for the next Michael Jordan. If SS put as much effort into a mags as they do their COTD line it would spectacular at half the cost. They have spread themselves a bit thin lately, but I would put their gladiator hulk up against any statue (including mags).

Some folks really never had an opportunity to pre-order this statue if demand exceeded supply from the beginning. Also, many customers don't care whether or not it's XMs can sell their products in the US. All customers remember is "I wanted to purchase a product from XM, and I was unable to do so". Lastly...if XM management/employees become "discouraged" regarding negative comments on Facebook...they are not going to be around long. Let's be honest...criticism from customers is a part of doing business. People complain when they don't get what they want...

It's a great looking piece...congrats to all who secured one.

I'm pretty sure for the moment a batch worth. Honestly I see this being available, as a lot of people are doing this on impulse, and I'm sure not all will have a grand available when charged.

There is that so there is a little hope but you will have to stay vigilant to capitalize on that opportunity.

Thumbs Up to you bro. Hoping this sell out is only for the coin version and more lots come in.

Seriously, particularly in this industry, being able to handle a bombardment of criticism, deserved and undeserved, is a necessary skill.

I agree. Though XM has already laid down the ground rules:

No export to outside countries of their contract, except from resellers.
Coins are exclusive to 50% of early bird incentives (and only comics)
They will never go above 999 ES (which honestly would've been a good move to make that much more)

So those are poor criticism. They take to word from the customers to make better sculpts; these critics are trying to hit their business proposal which can't/won't/ and should not change IMO.
