I went to Meijers today and found Boba Fett!

For over a year, I searched for him in stores not willing to pay double+ on ebay only to come up empty handed time and time again.

I walked down the aisle and moved the usual Greedo and Leia peg warmers just for the heck of it..and there he was. I just shook my head and smiled.
I imagine that is how I will find my Walgreens proto Fett one day.

p.s. to all you folks just buying them up to scalp for profit, I hope you get chronic rectal itch.

Or you know...instead of relying on outdated methods of commerce, you COULD use the internet. The device you're using right now to post this message?

A nice gentleman (or lady) will deliver the toy right to your front door. It's crazy!

Its funny because I had a Boba on order over at bbts.com what do you know I walk into a TRU and actually find a Boba. Using my phone I go to cancel my order
and what do you know it showed up and now I'll have 2 Bobas... it figures that the day I find one in the wild the one ive been waiting on forever for online
shows up as well. Oh well, not really complaining just thought it was funny.

I picked up Jabba yesterday at Target and it is my favorite version of Jabba that has been produced. I had the SS Jabba back in the day and I think the Black Series Jabba looks better to my eyes. Maybe it's the sculpt, maybe the paint work, perhaps the scale, but this totally reminded me of how happy I was as a kid in '83 getting Jabba and the Rancor. I wish the humans in the line got the same level of quality as the aliens and troopers get. I also got Anakin and the eye paint on both heads are just terrible. I'm going to have to get good at repainting the human heads if I want to continue with the humans in this line.

Some quick pics. Fixed the scout's visor and the bike's handle bars Just heat them up with a hairdryer, shape and run through cold water. Material is soft and the weathering is pretty half @$$. Cool toy though. It'll do until Sideshows 1/6 version arrives.

Am curious how much does a regular figure cost in the US. Prices here are pretty ridiculous....

Jabba looks good - he's an easy pass for me since I never got the Fett/Carbonite set, no does he come with a throne - he looks incomplete. Speeder Bike looks really good though - will get that one

You could pick up the dais from the old Kenner Jabba and use that.

FLOSI was quoting the standard figure price. Scout's with bikes retail around $40 here.

33 USD is the standard retail price for a figure here.
I would imagine Scout with bike to be around 60 USD? Perhaps even more.

I found one of the scouts at Target today. Fantastic figure and I caved in and bought it but it was $39 and that sure felt like a lot of money. I would love to get a second one but I just don't know if I can fork it over again. If it was $30 I'd be getting two and tempted to buy a third to keep one on my desk at work but $39 just feels too high. I will probably end up passing on Jabba so I can get the Hoth 2 packs. Hopefully those won't jump to a higher price.

The odd thing for me is if the figures were priced $5 cheaper I would probably be buying them all and I would even try to get a decent squad of Stormies but at the $19 retail price I only feel okay cherry picking this line.
