Well in the first movie, his suit was losing power mid fight with Iron Monger. I figure by the 3rd movie, he just builds the power source in the suits so they can activate remotely. Probably explains why he removed his from his chest since it wasn't really doing anything for the suits anymore. It made sense that it needed to recharge but happened a bit too often.

I agree, Tony building things is probably my favorite part of any IM film. I missed it but him building make-shift weapons for the mansion attack was awesome.

I was very confused on why he had to charge the suit with a car battery, until someone pointed out that because of the design of the 42 - each part essentially requires its own power source.

This is my first Iron man, I'm new to the 1/6th scale hot toys community. Started with batman dx
and now i own MOS, light armor Thor and very soon I hope the mark 42.

I want to set up a nice looking but inexpensive display, any recommendations for what I can use?

Perhaps I should have used the workshop head? :lol

It's a great pic!

When I look at Tony he just looks like he's shaking his head, thinking to himself what Fury said to him in IM2:

Whoa, whoa, whoa. He took it? You're Iron Man and he just took it? The little brother walked in there, kicked your ass and took your suit? Is that possible?

Well according to Stark Industries there are safeguards to prevent unauthorized usage

Everyone uses the Detolf from Ikea. Nice, not too big and cheap. Each shelf can hold 3-4 figures without looking too crowded and they're easy to assemble. It's your best option for 1/6 figures.

never got the whole detolf thing or why they are so popular :dunno

Probably due to you keeping your figures in the boxes and not taking them out to display.....
I wasn't sure i wanted to use them either, but figured for $65 I could try it out and see, and I couldn't imagine anything else working half as well now.

Probably yeah :slap

relatively cheap, glass display, everybody is doing it. Take your pick
Cheap did it for me! For collectors on a budget it's a pretty easy call.

I see, Thanks guys :hi5::hi5:

Couldnt agree more, for me in the Uk the next best i could find were cabinets at over £100 easily

For me, £40 was perfect, and apart from a little dust inside my lone detolf is perfect!
