Omg!.. the awesomeness just keeps getting bigger!
Deadpool is definitely being pre-ordered!.. I take the point some peeps are making, that Deadpool and a spandex body-stocking are almost inseparable.. however as Darklord Dave pointed out, it is extremely difficult to make that look good on a 1/6 figure.. I am a Spider-man fan, but tbh in 1/6, I have never found a figure that impressed me enough to buy.. they all look like a doll in wrinkly spandex.. so this figure's kit works for me.
..will pay extra for Dogpool accessory!

While I grew up with Spandex suits for my Super-heroes ... who the hell would wear a spandex suit in real life? 1 bullet hole or cut and your suit would just rip off and you'd look like a Chip'n'Dale dancer. So bring on the slight-modern take on the uniforms. So far Deadpool and Wolverine are looking fine for prototypes yet still fit their Comic book appearances in Spandex. Close enough to hit nostalgia yet modern enough to not look like crap in my Man Cave.

Finally! Loving the Deadpool, not quite so keen on the Wolvie. By and large, I like what Sideshow does when they're re-interpreting a classic character. When you buy a Hot Toy figure, you get a perfectly scaled down replica of the usually movie-based apperance. With Sideshow, they're not beholden to any one look, and you get something that some might find a little more toylike. I don't know about anybody else, but I kinda like that.

I wonder what the back of the suit looks like and if the knee pads are attached to the pant legs. If the back is the same as the front, I'd be inclined to flip it around so the zipper is in the back. Either way, this is pre-ordered as soon as it goes up!
