This is awesome news.

I find it funny people are saying HT won't go deep in to this line, because they dont for anything else.

They have never had a line like SW.

All 3 Ironman movies- after all the Ironmen, War Machines, Iron Monger, whats left? nothing. It's why they are milking IM himself.

Avengers- after the team and an alien, there's nothing to go further. People in suits? Fun.


SW has 37 years of amazing designs, background characters that people WANT to know everything about. It's gonna be held up by the new movies, but I believe they are going to go hog wild with this and I can't wait.

Yeah if the new movies are successful, we'll see a slew of releases.

If the new movies aren't successful.. maybe not as much.

Depends on your definition of "$ucce$$ful." If by that you mean box office than the Prequels were a $ucce$$!

My definition is money.
The Prequels were somewhat of a success... but only for Lucas and Hot Toys had just been founded so it's irrelevant. We don't know how to gauge it.

yeah same; has their Iron Man line not proved they will not only milk a line, they'll milk it until that teat has got nothing but DUST flying out of it????

I'll be honest, if the quality is Bespin Luke or better, there are a couple of prequel figures I'd also want: Quality EPIII Obi Wan being at the top of that list

Well said... this is not the end for Sideshow but certainly a chance for some of the older figures to get a new version. I'm pretty excited about both Sideshow and HT bringing us figures

I'll pick and choose, I love Sideshows Aliens, Clones, etc but I want a better Han, Mace, etc.

Same here. They have a ton of figures to make over the next year. Hopefully their production line is up to the task.

HT have a huge Star Wars display at AniCom being set up, with hot chicks walking around with lightsabers and lifesize Vader and Stormies. I fully expect them to have something tomorrow.
