I'm surprised why SS didn't mod the old Tatoonie and Trooper disguise Luke sculpts for the Hoth version. Alex, would you have an insight on that ? We've seen some great repaints on those age old sculpts while the new ones don't really fit the bill.

I would buy the hell out of that. I know it'd be pricey but still, if SSC were to offer it, how could you not?

This is the first real announcement I've been really excited about in a while. I'm hoping that we see a TIE Fighter Pilot coming soon.

That xwing is CRAZY awesome. I passed on Hoth Luke, but this would be tempting. It will, frankly, come down to final production paint. I am still not blown away by SSC in that dept; they need a lot of work there imo

Don't worry--I'm sure they'll be making an ESB version in the future.

I don't think Sideshow would or should include the white gloves and poofy coat as an exclusive or an extra for this release. Those are surely distinct ESB elements which they can save for a future variant, which will also mean a new ESB Luke headsculpt.

Someone mentioned a con exclusive for ESB Luke Pilot and that seems the most likely to me (for next year -- about the time this one will be in hand).

I had already started to collect all the elements needed for an ESB Luke snow speeder pilot. I am definitely holding off on this project for now. It seems unlikely however they would make a third Luke anytime in the near future.

That would definitely work. I just can't see people being satisfied in using the same headsclupt for both ANH and ESB Luke pilots. A new headsclupt for ESB is essential.

If those were both released I'd likely swap a head out on one of them rather than have 2 figures of Luke that are that similar. Sure I have 3 bespin outfits (HT hanging w/ a hand, JT non-damaged and reworked Sideshow for a Dagobah Hut prop) but I draw the line at 2 Luke's in a flight suit
