There's a reason why last year's Toy Fair exclusives are still sitting in-stock at SSC. You can be sure they will practically be giving these away as contest freebies for years to come.

Its alright. Nothing beats the Partyman museum entrance in '89 though

Yes it's iconic but it's not his signature look now far less people would be hesitant had this been his purple suit.

I think only the die hard fans will want this at this price.

I am trying to stay away from repaints non signature looks .

So the reality of the situation is, the next Hot Toys Batman or Joker figure Hot Toys release (or re-release, heh heh) will easily be $300+ right out of the gate.

Hot Toys cancelling those "coming soon" licenses of yesteryear is looking pretty good to me now, I actually hope they don't happen.

“I want my face on the one dollar bill” Hot Toys’ first 1/6th scale The Joker (Museum Version) Today we are delighted to present this updated version of The Joker (Clown shape 2.0) Collectible Figure as one of the 2015 Toy Fair Exclusive items.

The movie-accurate collectible figure is specially crafted based on Jack Nicholson's image as The Joker in his museum outfit in the movie. It features a newly painted head sculpt with upgraded technique, new tailored slimmer-fitting costume, detailed accessories, and a backdrop of the Museum used in the gas killings.

Only 400 bucks? I'll take three.

I'm the first person to defend price increases but charging over 300 bucks for this is a slap in the face. Especially for something that will sit around for years to come.

I think ht needs to invest in the iron man market. They haven't done many figures in that line.

I think what really drove the price up was the base (which I think looks awesome) and the backdrop (could care less about that).

Say we are paying $30-$35 extra for the base and $10 for the backdrop. Without those two items this figure would be priced around $225. That would seem pretty standard, but still a little high.
