That is a MUST have figure! Its rare to see that bid starting out so low! I'm sure its gonna skyrocket within the next few days. I would love to get my hands on that but I know it will end up being out of my price range plus he doesn't ship to the US.

that is a ****ing nice myers if I say so myself...

Yep that is a sweet figure. I'm so happy I got one when I did.

:goodpost:

Well let's just say I was offered it at a really good price but sadly I had to turn it down. I know I'm ashamed but what can you do. :dunno

I do not believe I ever posted images of this one, I just last week sold it. Early H2 Myers Custom.
Head was painted and haired by elvis1976 and after I posted images on my Facebook wall, One's Customs said he thinks it's one of his older sculpts. The overalls where the orange Saturday Toys overalls complete re-done by me. E.g pockets moved, collar added, re-coloured, weathered and then stained!
I made the knife from metal and wood. Hot Toys figure body, standard boots and hands painted by me. Enjoy! :hi5:

Cheers! :rock

Love that Myers. Although I hate the modern remake movies, I do prefer their version of the mask. Sorry, but William Shatner just doesn't scare me anymore like he did when I was ten and I saw the original Halloween in theaters, LOL.

If you're ever selling another in this style, I'm a buyer.

Yah the one things the movies did was improve the mask design. Otherwise... Meh.

Thanks mate, glad you like it, the 2007 remake did have a cool look that is for sure!

I will always favor the 1978 mask over any other Halloween masks. A follow up close in order would be of course H81, H20, Resurrection and RZ H1. I did not like RZ H2 mask, Zombie destroyed it to the point that I couldn't bring myself to appreciate it. But the worst mask I ever seen was H5. H4 wasn't too bad and H6 was kind of OK.

Alright so I watched RZ H1 again (only saw it once before, hated it) and then watched RZ H2 (never saw it). RZ H1 actually isn't all that bad, I enjoyed it. Dr. Loomis was portrayed pretty good, and I enjoyed seeing Michael's "childhood".

Then we get to RZ H2, which felt more like a standalone RZ movie with Myers thrown in. Dr. Loomis' character was completely destroyed and Laurie was absolutely ridiculous and out of control. I actually enjoyed Myer's hobo costume. Not a terrible sequel but it wasn't very good.

I watched both with my sister, and Imma watch the original H1/H2/H20 tonight to get her into this stuff because she just watches crap movies. Gotta start sometime :)

Myers child hood went for to long in rz h1. Totally butchered the character. The original myers didn't come from a broken home. I hated the way it was made. Typical rz movie.

2nd film was even worse. Story was ****. Characters poor. Everything was crap for a halloween film.

I really hate the way myers was portrayed as a bum. I actually prefer the resurrection storyline to the two garbage halloween films rz made

See when I first watched RZ H1 I said the same thing. Childhood too long, focused too much on Myer's psychology mental state BS etc.

Wasn't terrible, still prefer the originals tho. Nothing will beat em :)

The best things to come out of the Rob Zombie 'try's Halloween' was -

1 - Myers look and mask in both films.
2 - Myers was brutal.
3 - The first one did not suck all that much.

Here's the thing about Myers: he's like the Joker. He's a force of nature. Any origin story just diminishes him. The Rob Zombie movies are like Myers's own "Red Hood" storyline: a mistake. Don't explain why he does what he does. There is no explanation. That's what makes him terrifying.

Loomis summed it up and said all that needs to be said: "He had the blackest eyes...the Devil's eyes."

He's the guy you shoot six times, and look away, and then he's gone.

Ah but to me Carpenter I think was heavy hinting that Myers in the original was more than just a man in a mask right from the get go. I think he may have been tempted to have us see Myers 'dead' after Loomis shot him 'six times' and then we would have realise that this guy who we had been watching and we thought was being driven by pure evil, the devil, rage or whatever you want to call it but once he did the 'oh he is gone' ending then Myers became confirmed supernatural.

I will agree with you in the fact Myers was hell of a lot more brutal. Especially in RZ H2. I actually disliked the fact they made him grunt when he killed. What was up with that? And then he said something at the end of the movie, forgot what it was.

Yep
I can't stand Zombie's H2.
It was actually on "syfy" earlier today and I watched it to give it another chance since I haven't seen it in a while.
Still just as awful...couldn't watch the entire thing.:lol

He grunted in the original too though....
