Absolutely I understand that there are a lot of factors that come into play to price a statue. I'm sure Apoc and GHulk are larger in overall volume and would probably be priced at $650 if they were on preorder today vs. last year. Lobo has a ton of detail (not that the other 2 don't) and more of the mixed media element.

I agree with u there. This looks awesome. Love the mixed media and the cigar portrait. It's how they handled themselves as a business last year that makes me really let down and hesitant to order this.

Depends what you got last year. I got Deadpool PF EX and the Batman PF EX and both were outstanding quality in every way. Exactly like the protos for me. So in my eyes SS is firing on all cylinders right now.

Apoc I waited for 3 years. It took my breath away when I saw it . But it's like looking at a fat chick in a club. With the right lighting everything seems OK. .. until the morning after.

I thought Batman PF was awesome. Mary Jane awesome. Punisher and Black Widow pretty good but when all you have to paint is the portrait.. Both don't look as good as the con pics and I know SSC is capable of delivering

I can save a good percentage by getting the regular plus shipping is about half what Sideshow will charge me due to my proximity to AD. Dawg won't be priced that much different since Sideshow is offering the $20 bundle discount, but I need to decide if he's really worth $115 plus shipping.

The $20 off bundle offer is via a coupon which unfortunately can't be combined with any other code. Either way you would need to technically wait till October's code more or less to apply the monthly code.

The price is pretty insane; however, it also has SO many details on it, and is pretty damn huge, that if QC is superb on it, it'll actually be well worth the cost. I have no idea who the character is (I know the character exists, but I've never known or seen him in a comic) so I wouldn't even consider it; but if I was a Lobo fan...man, even if it knocked me out of collecting...if I was a big enough fan, this seems like the best piece you'll ever find for the character. It truly does look beautiful!

That said, I think the dog should be like $50...I mean, is anyone JUST going to buy the dog? Doubtful...make him $50 and odds are most people would buy the combo without much question.

Congrats to those who were waiting for this piece! It looks superb, and I hope the final product comes as close to this as can be.
