Is anybody still waiting for there figures?

Yep, Mine has been stuck with Parcelforce since it landed in the UK last week, I got to pay a customs charge but first I need them to send me a letter with some code on it so I can pay :gah:

It takes 1 day to get here from South Korea and then a week to get it from Parcelforces depot to me.
I wouldn't be that bothered but I go on Holiday this Saturday. I can see myself not receiving it before then and it getting returned to sender. :horror

Track it via parcelforce and when you get the 'revised charges to be paid', it will then go to the local depot near you.

At that stage don't wait for the letter. Phone the local depot and quote your tracking number and pay over the phone and then schedule the delivery.

Or if you want it even quicker, take some ID to the depot itself and pay and collect.

Yeah I might try that, if this letter thing don't turn up by tomorrow. I know they hold stuff at the depot for a certain amount of time before sending it back to where it came from, just be my luck that happens. :exactly::lol

I'm still waiting for mine as well. Passed through Greek customs today, so I hope I will have them in hand by Friday...

Yeah still no letter, so I phoned Parcelforce & settled the customs charge over the phone, it was for 22 pounds, doesn't seem worth it?

Anyway I should get these bad boys tomorrow. :yess:

Thanks for your advice. :hi5:

I actually got mine last week but they didn't blow me over straight out of the box. It was just a week+ from hell and sometimes it's hard to enjoy the hobby when the going gets rough in real life. The shortcomings jumped out at me and were really glaring at first; I didn't want to take my 1:1 problems out on them, so I decided to settle down and marinate on these before I spoke :lol. They've been displayed since they've landed and I've been experimenting with a few things for Tuco's height (which was driving me nutty out of the box). They've been growing on me more each day and I'm starting to past my initial qualms. I'll post my thoughts when I can settle on what I'm doing about Tuco and when I can be more excited about these.

Yes please do Mike, I enjoy your raw honest opinion on figures these figures cost a lot of money and sometimes I think people get overwhelmed with the artistry that they don't give honest opinions. That's not to diminish any work the artist has done or how amazing the figure is but in 1/6 scale collecting perfection is something everybody seeks and it's good to hear some good debates. I think also it's a great way for artist to learn in understand what their customers really seek. It's a great hobby we're in

I think making Clint taller helps. Here is a comparison. On the left is a 21 with long pegs and BGT boots. Right is the trio Blondie.

Yeah I got my Blondie fig on long pegs. I might just put my trio Blonde + Angel eyes on long pegs and leave Tuco on the regular pegs. I think LVC & Clint were similar height wise.

Darn I wish I could wrap my Blonde's poncho around him as good as you've got it DA.

I wish everybody thought like you. Not about the hobby being great... about my opinions :lol

I agree that it's nearly equally as important to mention the shortcomings of an offering as it his to give the artists/producers their much deserved accolades. IMO it's important to keep artists in tune with the mind of the collector, and both positive and "less than positive" feedback achieves that. Some folks seem to think that once you point out areas that could have been improved you're picky or a critic of whatever.

Swap out the body and use a Dragon one for Tuco.

I have Blondie on the original boots so he's already pretty tall (taller than Angel Eyes). I put Tuco on a Coulson body which works as good as a body could but of course the clothes being tailored for something bigger sets some constraints. Still working on the finishing touches.

time for me to share mine! I ended up just going for the Tuco head, which is awesome! and ended up combining rainman and iminime outfits for Angel Eyes. It was tough to pick which parts I liked better cause they were both terrific outfits, but this is what I decided on.

also, as per Ray's great suggestion, I put Tuco on an Enterbay scarface body, and modded the neck and feet to fit. I love the result in terms of body build and height!

how did you bury your second Blondie. Lol j/k awesomeness[/QUOTE said:
lol, I suppose that does look like a good ol fasion beach bury.. until someone comes out with a new bounty hunter outfit so I can make a chair and noose dio for that awesome head, buried it shall continue to be unfortunately..

That's fantastic, chilipep! The more I see these things, the more I want them. Even the trio Blondie is stunning. I didn't think it was possible to improve any further upon the initial release, but Denny's once again proved that impossible's for chumps.:lol

My poncho futzing skills are right where I need them to be :lol Thanks buddy :hi5:

Looking forward to what you do with Tuco. I'm gonna port AE over to a narrow TT and see how he looks next. I might just leave Tuco as is for now.

Fantastic set up man. I love everything done and the scale issues that were addressed. The only thing that makes me sad is that awesome DX hs in the sand. That needs a body and outfit asap. If you can't find one, then send it to me :lol Great job all around though and thanks for posting those incredible figures and display.
