I can't produce any photos at the moment that can match most of the ones you guys have put up... (finding the camera rather than use the cellphone might help).... But, just to show my family...





Overall I'm pretty happy... I don't think it's as bad as early projections from many, but what would I know... lol... The jaw is a little square, and he isn't as good as the much more expensive PFF, but they are different items made a different way, and for a different display purpose..

One thing though.. his skin tone is too dark, especially on the arms..

Got mine today, & I'm not sure if it's because I thought I was going to be so disappointed, or if the figure itself is actually good, but I find myself pretty impressed with it overall. The sculpt isn't even thaaaaat bad in person, & I don't even think I need to squish it. It doesn't look as chubby in person, the way it looked to me previously in this thread. The tailoring is mint (although the weathering around the collar of the henley might not look so natural maybe), the body is nice, & the sculpt is passable. I haven't set him up with his accessories & things yet, but I plan too. I don't think I'm going to mod the sculpt, it's fine. I will welcome a nicer sculpt if it becomes available though (somebody shrink the PF sculpt). This Nathan Drake is better than no Nathan Drake Cheers Sideshow.

Here's a short video showing what I was talking about with the weathering on the henley, & the sculpt in indoor lighting. I think my camera has an easier time capturing sharper footage in natural daylight, so maybe I can try that later, but for now, this is ok I guess.

Jesus H. That's shoddy work. The actual casting on the face is very poor as well, that soft vinyl cling film look should be a thing of the past. I know I was joking when I posted those Team America puppet pics, but that really does look like it. The eyes, the eyes!

I think the person who blobbed that orange paint on is the same person who drew squiggles around Grievous' eyes.

I should have him in a couple of days, looking forward to seeing if it lives up to my expectations in hand.

Is it just the photography or lighting, but why do some of them look like somebody bathed Nate in body oil?... Is it some sort of quality control issue like how some Lightning PAK figures have a reversed elbow...

Overall I'm pretty happy with the head of mine, although like I say the skin tone just seems to dark on the body...

It's the material SS is using for casting their heads. It gives the skin a nice translucency but is very soft and undetailed in these latest figures. Look at the beard area?
It's like a cheap shiny dolls head.

The sad thing is that is stands out more when viewing it in hand; I've contacted SSC for a replacement.
