DBZ is ABOUT variants. It's about the same characters transitioning into different forms.

Saiyan or android saga vegeta is not majin vegeta. And they aren't substitus for each other.

Side character fans just have to accept they became a fan of something that doesn't matter as much within the franchise.

A lot of unreleased main char version are still more warranted imo then any side characters are. More then some side characters we've already gotten even.

Honestly with this line nothing can be guessed. Tamashii said they were going to focus on saiyans and we got how many new saiyans? ONE being normal goku and maybe sdcc exclusive. Tamashii said they werent going to do anymore re paints after sdcc piccolo we will see if that remains true which i doubt since they said they were focusing on saiyans and they clearly havent lol

All they said was that Saiyans were the best selling figures. (that said, I'm shocked they deviated from that and did Krillin and the Androids)

The Androids had two strikes against them, they weren't sayians and they were villains (we know how Japan feels about villain figures) This much at least gives me much hope for unlikely candidates.

Yeah I don't understand how almost everything needs to be "pre-approved" through Japan first when it's obvious this line is only thriving because of North America & other countries. I mean, country-of-origin loyalty, I guess. But still.
