... Project status update:

The digtially painted backdrop is 100% finished to be printed!! A real masterwork we cannot wait to reveal completely within some days now! : )

We made some tests to see which setups work best for a few sample dioramas to show you when we are ready for pre-order and we will finish these within the next days, too so that pre-orders can begin for sample sized dioramas and custom sized dioramas.

I was having a conversation at another forum regarding the differences between v1 and v2, and upon checking the TDKR movie I found out that v1's seat was more accurately painted. Not sure if this was brought up here before. I guess I'll have to strip the paint off my v2.

(...)

That's new to me, will have to take a look at that, thanks for pointing it out!

I found out hard to mount the DX02 on the latest Batpod because of the rubber suit. The joints didn't stay where I wanted them to stay. However, I think the first Batpod was made for the DX02 to fit on since the DX12 was years from releasing. Ergo I just have the DX12 on it right now.

AFAIK the DX02 is hard to mount on the first pod as well. It could be the nature of the DX02's suit. I think there are no differences between the first and second releases as it's a straight reproduction, save for the paint and the wire attachment accessory.

I think the Batpod first release was design for the MMS71 as that's the figure on it in all of the pre-release advertising photos. The DX02 was released later, and is too stiff for it. I always thought that figure was meant to be posed standing, not on (or in) either of the vehicles.

Just going to post this photo here.....a friend of mine built this. Pic is from Wondercon in Anaheim last weekend.

Half that would be ok.
Oops. Bane includes. Ok. Not so bad then.
My BatPod was about £200 mark, tumbler £280, and Bane around £110. So I guess the price ain't so bad.

Got my batpod today and wow its a great piece, paid $340 shipped for it. I got it mainly to go with Selina Kyle, i dont even have a Batman yet :lol i think this will be it for my dark knight vehicles. The tumbler goes for crazy money!

Found these hockey puck holders that can help you angle the batpod for a more dynamic pose. I only used one but you could use them on both wheels for more stability. You get 2 per hockey puck holder
