I bought the japanese gold version yesterday, it seems the new goku is fully flat plastic compare to previous figuarts. It doesnt reflect light much at all. Overall i felt ok with the figure, but for me the body look to bulked for all his faces as none of them look very serious or seems small.

I really wish HT would make some good DragonBall Z figures with actual material as clothes.

The only character I'd get is Gohan as he was always my favourite. But he doesn't get many models made that I like as he ages so much and has so many different versions of himself.

Whereas they often make mmultiple versions of almost identical Goku's...

No interest in 1/6 scale figures for me. Recently bought one and came to the conclusion it's just way too big for me. Have never liked figures that big.

Now if Play Arts Kai picked up the Dragon ball Z franchise, that's a different thing.

Toyarena still says in stock april 30th...

Gohan punched 18 out of cell, I don't see why a punch that nearly KO's an artificial fusion can't knock thm out of it. It's more logical to me than seperating because you're ingested.. But Vegeta wanting to seperate because h goes into berserk over Buu's actions seems even more logical to me. He's like FU ****rot this isn't working, I'm gonna blow this dude up by myself. And against all odds, he then does. At th cost of his own life.... I dig it. it's like in the normal series but he actually kills Buu, and his strongest form at that.

With all due respect, I don't like that idea of a fusion breaking up by an external blunt force alone just like I can't fathom Gohan's punching out 18 in the anime. I do however condone Vegeta's atonement by sacrificing himself to end Buu but regarding fusion I'd rather they separate due to the form's limited time.

Medicom tried it with mediocre results but I think HT will improvise and deliver.

The only thing when you go higher in scale is that you get a bigger area to work and include details upon. That's not to say that SHFs are any less detailed but you do get to stretch your hands a bit when tooling, sculpting and painting on a large scale!

BTW, what do you guys think of a mid-transformation Vegeta face to be included as a bonus with the upcoming SDCC ex* release?
