I still have hope for an 18” Dog. Not everyone is a fan of the movie but the creature always sells.

Woah! Hold the phone, what have I now missed?!? Have NECA announced plans for an 18" Aliens Warrior??!!! I'd be all over that guy

I haven’t read anything that really sets it in stone other than them replying to an Alien 2.0 request with Warrior first.
It was a while back and with the Queen plus Powerloader I doubt we will see/hear anything solid soon.

Was just emailed form Amoktime. My Hudson 2 packs are on the way. Looking forward to these bad boys. Of course pics will be posted almost emmediately. Knocking on wood for good paint apps on the face!

I found the Hudson 2 pack today. They must have just put a case out. Paint apps on the face were all over the map. Fortunately, one of them looked pretty great

Picked up the Hudson Vs. Warrior Alien 2-pack today. The facial expression on Hudson is great, and the warrior Alien's acid damage looks really cool. I wouldn't mind more 2-packs like this, like Ripley with the '79 Alien, or a Marine with a non-battle damaged warrior Alien.

THOSE LAZY BASTARDS!!!!

Good:
-One of mine had a damn fine face (paint apps) and I love the expression.
-They DID sculpt the helmet cover.
-They DID paint the grafitti on his helmet.

Bad:
-Above is completely undone by the fact they did NOT paint the helmet cover the correct color (same fabric as BDUs). They just slapped the regular armor paint on it, meaning if anyone wants to fix it we have to cover the decent grafitti and try to replicate it, or paint around it which ....just ugh.

-Helmet sits way too high again. They don't have the "big hair" excuse Hicks had. Not sure why they did that...

-The other one has a Fred Flintstone 5-oclock shadow. Guess that will be the one I chop up...

Alright. Pics.

Overall, I like it. I really do.




I think the face on my first one isnt bad at all. No pics of my second one, but as I mentioned above its a bit more ham-fisted on the paint for his facial scruff. If anything the one seen here is too light. Somehting in the middle of the 2 would have been better, but hey, I'll take this. I like it.


The Helmet is an improvement from the Hicks. The back lobster plates are painted FAR better than Hicks. The mic Boom is INFINTELY improved. The hicks helmet had the worst mic that was clumpy and droopy. They look like the redid it to me. The mic is much cleaner and straighter here.



The grafitti gets an A for effort. Here you see his "brain dead" and his count down to his freedom. They really botched the 8-Ball in my opinion. Its supposed to be a painted on "8 Ball" but Neca did it so huge that it looks like a random elongated #8 surrounded by heavy weathering. When you back off you sort of realize it was supposed to be an 8 ball.

Also, as already covered: they went to the trouble to sculpt a fabric cover, but ignored the fact it was the same fabric as the BDU pattern when they painted it and made it the same as all the other hard parts.



The aliens are more of the same. Seen one alien figure from this line, you have seen them all.
-Crooked legs
-Slop filled inner mouth
-crooked jaws.

BUT, both my Warriors had good joints, no breakages, and I still like them. Damn glad to have them.
