re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

You are 40. No excuse to not have vintage SW figures in your collection. :lecture

See....that doesn't help things at all. I'm craving an ugnaught right now. Cute, piggy looking, tusked bastards. And so efficient with carbon freezing. All vader had to do was flick his finger and those porcine buggers froze the hell out of that scoundrel. Poor little ugnaughts. I bet they made less than minimum wage and had zippy for health insurance. Like lando was going to offer them "landocare". Friggin prick.

Now, now. Lando treated his workers with respect. He even gave them ice cream.

Crazy busy weekend and hopelessly behind on the thread. Hope everybody's well! :wave

I did get around to framing my two pieces of Freak art - Foli's OWK print and Nick's Christmas card sketch from a couple years ago. :rock

How about NYCC? A bunch of us are now targeting that one. It's in October. I havent committed yet, but I'm leaning towards it...

Let me see. Katrin and I want to fit in a few trips this year.

No, not yet. I do still have your PM though. There's no rush. I'm still giving you first dibs, since I promised you long, long ago...

Awesome, thank you! And definitely lmk about NYCC. I was thinking of skipping this year to save for CVII but will change that if any of you guys can make it.

You going to do more than one day bro?

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Was gonna quote Ken's list, but I'll refrain as I know he's only kidding around.

Looking forward to bulking up the vintage collection. Hope Ken's not going to gouge me... :horror

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

This is a PARTIAL list. I'm taking a break. But I felt the need to post some, for a sense of accomplishment. I'd say this is 2/3. More to come in a few hours... I will post a complete list later, as well as a list of incomplete figures. It looks like I'll have some extra weapons as well. Perhaps we could trade some weapons, if anybody has the ones I need...
These are ALL COMPLETE, and in excellent condition except where noted. But I am no expect in grading vintage figures. I will email pictures of specific figures to interested parties.

From your list I know I at least need the Ewoks. But others are ahead of me, so once they buy LMK. I'll work on what else I need as well.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I'm not much of a conspiracy theories, but it was eerie how seemingly easy it was to create total isolation and stop all forms of communication like that. It was weird to have a sense that if something was going on there was no way to get information out, or have it coming in. Very strange series of events.

In the span of just a few seconds I had no way to contact anyone and was for all intents and purposes broke. With no access to banks, all those digital ones and zeros meant nothing. Fawk that.

Stuff like this is real! I have 2months worth of food and water at my house along with 3 rifles. You never know bro!

Okie dokie! Oh, and I suppose Punk too... I'm a bit amazed so many people are still looking for vintage. I am, too. I really should combine my list of "needs." I may have a lot to sell but I still have a ton that I need...

Star Wars is the only line I have left from my childhood. When I got back into collecting vintage I picked up a few here and there but never really got back into it heavy, though I love it. Instead, I started buying up other lines that I never had (Tron, Black Hole, Dune, Remco Monsters) or lines that I had 1-2 things (Indiana Jones, MASK, etc.). Now that I'm nearing completion on those I really want to finish off my SW set.

Funny thing, as a kid the lines I had the most of were Transformers, GI Joe, He-Man and of course, Star Wars. The only one of those lines that I have any desire to collect is Star Wars. The other ones I appreciate but have no care to own again.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

If peeps come out for it then yes. If not then I'm probably going to skip altogether.

I'm not going to NYCC, so you don't have to go. :lol:rotfl
Just kidding! You must do what you feel is right, of course.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I just saw The Hobbit part 2 for the first time today. I liked it a lot better than the first one.

It's definitely a lot better I thought too! It was just so action packed. And Smaug was awesome!

So I went through my Vintage SW and the only ones I have doubles of are Stormtroopers, Sandpeople, Snowtrooper, Rebel Soldier and Commander, and Bespin Guards. All army builder types I'll probably hold onto for now until I get a full display set up (not sure if I'll need them or not.) Only other fig I have an extra of is a Death Star Droid with bad paint. haha. A lot of help I am it seems. :D
