Re: Batman vs. Superman (2016)

Give him a secondary character like CYBORG or HAWKMAN or something and as long as it moves the DC Cinematic Universe forward and isn't a COMPLETE disaster, I'm all for it.
Nah - give him the sole purpose of janitor duty at the next comic con.

Then he'll know what it feels like at the other end, to deal with the mess after someone's gotten creative with a No.2 & smeared it all over his nice clean handy work. :lecture

I agree, GL raised the bar and Cap 2 was a bore.

Where did I put my crack pipe. :lol

Yep comparing whats considered a failure to the latest masterpiece (says you) produced by Marvel is the most honest way to demonstrate your point.
Why not compare nolan ´s batman to the ****** lazy marvel movies who came out at the same Time for exemple?
Oh wait that does not help yur dissing of Warner bros...

And yep cap 2 was a bore fest for me. And its no big deal you know.
Going to a movie when yu know 10mins in who are the bad guys, the traitors, how and where its gonna end, bored me.
Past that boat infiltration and all the cgi big scenes designed by storyboard and previz artist the action were edited without any sense of pace or Space rendering it as unbearable as any action shitfest we ve seen these last years.
And come on the movie is Subtitled the Winter soldier, but seriously what does he have to do, hes basically a prop, a great badass one but save for the climax (wich was a lackluster, the rooftop and bridge scenes were better) hés really not used in that script.
Now i loved Cap and Falcon dynamic, and Bucky was cool but all the rest were just as shallow as usual.
Now its a great idea to go the spy thriller way, its a sexý well executed bore fest but a bore fest nonetheless for ME, MYSELF and I.
Meaning its just an opinion based on my tastes in movies.
Not gospel.
So relax and put that crack pipe down bro! Say no!
Yeah i know it must be a shock to discover that some have different opinions :)
Cool if you enjoyed it but dont shove your truth down the throats of those who didnt.

Im perfectly fine with those who wanna make love to the movie.
You should too with those who dont want to :)

Thank you :)

Did anyone catch man of steel on HBO last night? I swear there was no advertising for this anywhere. Before Dark Knight Rises came on they were promos and coming soons everywhere. MOS only got 2 stars too, although those reviewers on HBO are skewed.

Yup, I liked it even less than when I first saw, it just has way too many problems.

Re: Batman vs. Superman (2016)

There was nothing Superman-ish about this movie thus such "homage" is stupid / pointless / out of place :dunno

Fair enough, I was just playing with you.

I will admit that some of the story elements were predictable, but the big secret still surprised me:

Spoiler Spoiler:

But this is still my favorite action/superhero movie, with Avengers coming 2nd.

You do know ur talking to jye right? :lol i havent been here long but i already know that hes the type to make an opinion, stand by it and couldnt care less what other ppl say.

I'm sorry that I come off that way, i'm more of a jokster than what you're describing my like.

There are actually a large handful of folks on here that I highly enjoy reading their opinions, too many to mention actually.

But if you don't like what i'm saying I don't care. :lol

Haha sorry if i sounded negative but I did mean you don't care when people start dismissing your comments. I actually respect you for that cuz most people start firing back for no reason.

Spoiler Spoiler:

That's what something I liked very much, the elements of the story that I immediately pieced together I thought were going to be the secret plot twists, but they weren't, the real plot twists were a real surprise for me.

The ol' switch-a-roo :lol

Repped!

I disagree with you on TWS being boring, but I do respect that you’re not just jumping on the hype train saying “this is the best movie ever!!!” if you don’t think it is. I thought the movie was solid, just as good as Iron Man 1. People are comparing DC’s underwhelming films, with Marvel’s best just shows the bias from some members on here. In all honesty, Thor 2 and Iron Man 3 are some of the worst superhero films of the past decade. MOS I didn’t like either, but I didn’t think it was Iron Man 3 bad. As good as I thought TWS was, it doesn’t compare to TDK.

Aside for the fact that it is a Superman movie, you’re right.

Re: Batman vs. Superman (2016)

Thanks guys its Nice to see that we can agree to disagree ^^

Sorry batfan, its how i feel and im really not into that dc vs Marvel thing.
I just want good movies from whatever studios they come.
And so far im really not into the Marvel movies, and i do keep seeing them.
The things that probably killed it for me is the humor, way too much and the directors who could have been interchangeable (save for Joe Johnston). Hate it or love it but a guy like Snyder is anything but bland, he makes choices (bad ones sometimes... A lot) but at least he has a vision of what he wants to do, he doesnt have a Kevin Feige to tell him where to go and do.
The Marvel movies could all have been done by one director and nobody would notice.
To some its a good thing, to me its not. Its feels like fast food cinéma. Feel like an assembly line.

Now the Ws is a very decent flick and yes probably one of the Best from the Marvel movies, its on the right path.
I have high hopess for the Guardians because its director is a non Hollywood one, an underdog who has a great track record.
But im definitly not holding my breath for avengers 2.

Again im very happy that people are enjoying them and i would never tell them they shouldnt :)
