I think a super low ES will make a huge factor when buying a statue for some people, it is like it justifies their purchase or something. Sure they might have history with that character or find some other way to convince them to hit the pre-order/buy now button. I don't really put that much weight into an ES as I buy a statue with the intent to never sell it. Sure another statue may come out in the future that blows the current one away and I might sell it at a loss but it definitely will not cause me to enjoy it less during the time I own it just cause it has a high ES.

From the pics I've seen I don't dig the new design, I think I am in the minority though lol. This Optimus is the definitive version for me so once I have it I won't have a need to get any other version (wallet breathes a huge sigh of relief lol)

Easier said than done lol. I didn't think I be getting another OP when SS released theirs. That's the collectors problem, we can never stop! It's good there's a change in the design though.

I hear what you are saying but for me with my preferences and budget it's an easy choice on this occasion. I am not minted like most of the people in this thread :lol
 
I have no interest in another "modern" prime.

The only thing that would make me possibly sell this is if a Gen1 version of comparable quality is produced.

I ain't minted either lol. I had to sell a lot of stuff to fund for this, megaton and also Iron man mk7 LSF as well as Pred 2 maquette. I had to say goodbye to all my life size terminator endo skulls,HCG 1:2 endoskelton, Hot Toys 1:4 endo, Arnold Life size terminator bust, pretty much most of my terminator collection! Life will find a way if you want something bad enough^^

Just reading on the news transformers 5 is set to be released in 2017! Start saving, there be plenty of more robots to buy! There might even be one of Sam Witwicky :)
