It looks like the feet are separate from the actual boots, kinda like how they did Thors boots

Dang, can't beat those HK prices. PO for Solo SHIELD suit Cap just went up at 1 of the 2 official HT distributors here, for $210. It could be $215 at SSC, so a $350 tag for the 2-pack is reasonable enough. In a way, $350 is indeed a good price. Like a DX set with no PERS, considering that DX13 was above 300 but didn't come with 2 complete figures.

EDIT: So the 2-pack went up for PO as well at the same dealer: $345. $350 at SSC is most likely.

That's a fair price... not quite the deal we got with the DX Luke but that was quite a long time ago and prices are only getting worse.

Exactly what I have in mind, buddy! DX Luke is indeed the better set at $300 value, but considering HT's price standards now -- with MGS Raiden at $300! -- $350 for this is a steal.

BTW, I read the price wrong -- it's $335 for the 2-pack at the local dealer, not $345

So, judging by the other figures timelines, we should have 4-5 days before PO hits. But with the movie hitting US theaters tomorrow, it could be as soon as then.

Man, I remember a simpler time (December) when I just needed a decent Cap figure to play dolls with my daughter. Damn you, Hot Toys!

How far over $300 the 2-pack goes will determine which I get. at $350 you are basically paying $175 per figure. That's not the worst deal for 2 HT figs. I was waiting for the SHIELD Cap, so this is all good to me regardless of which I end up getting.

WTF?!?!? Even with the two figure set you still don't get the regular shield? Wow, that is a big F U to all of the people that couldn't order the Golden Age Cap in time but wanted to display this version with the normal shield, which is what he carries most of the time. I was lucky enough to order it but if I want to display both caps now I have to use that god awful powder blue piece of dirt. Nice. I love everything else btw but the shield thing just sucks the green weiner.

All the while I thought that the 1/6 helmet from the 2-pack is an EX, but it seems that it's a regular accessory. If so, that helmet can be bought for not as expensive as I thought. No interest in the civvie Cap and not much a Cap fan to have 2 Caps in my collection so I might just get the solo package and get the Evans HS (probably the inevitable "custom") and the helmet from Ebay so I could have a switch-out look.

Damn, headsculpt finally looks like Evans but this outfit is too bland for my liking. I might buy the Rogers sculpt separately for use on a later figure, because as we know from Loki the passage of time doesn't necessarily mean a future sculpt will be better.

Like the tony mech test head, I'm pretty sure this won't be the last time that head will be used. Prolly will be reused like 3-4 times.

Considering that now. I overlooked that the difference is only about $130 (at least based on our local dealer's listings). The mask could go for an easy $40, and the bootleg HS for $30. The full set indeed is a win with the extra body, jeans, jacket, shirt, shoes, and shield.

Can't wait for this. This is my favorite Cap suit (pending more AoU suit pics) and the sculpt looks awesome.

Had no plans to get the civilian look, but now that it's a two-fer it's a definite buy.
