Exactly. Statue is just preference, but the Hulk, no matter how drawn (except for 2099 Hulk hahaha), looks like a BEAST!!!
I think what peeps want in a modern Hulk PF is clear. It's a traditional looking Hulk with a more modern (Think Keown, Frank, Deodato, Yu) portrait. What we are getting on the new green PF is more of the old school ape or monstrous (huge protruding forehead) Hulk.
Honestly, this can all be settled easily by just turning a new modern green Hulk PF over to Martin Canale and Gore group. There is no doubt that would give most of us that desire a modern Hulk exactly what we are looking for. If something similar to the Gladiator Hulk's face portrait can be used, I think most of us would have been beyond happy. No Marvel Now Hulk armor for me though. I'd frustratingly pass on that as well.

There's been so many people on the same page as you, I'm suprised that no custom sculptor hasn't reached out to do this or vise versa. Seems like easy money.

My hope is that I can get the Green Hulk PF and the Captain America PF and then relax and wait for the perfect ironman.
I might've gotten this one if I didn't already want to get some upcoming PFs and have so many POs on the way. I'll probably pass on this too since Thor is going up for PO next week. I like the Kirby sculpt on this though even though a lot of ppl don't. Just don't like the reg. Looks major lame IMO. Would've loved a Glad Hulk type screaming with rage face. They'll release another Hulk PF as he is a VERY popular license

They'll get around to him again Jedi. The Hulk gets much love from SSC and us collectors. For the next green PF the winning equation is easy. Modern style green Hulk PF + Canale/Gore group = GRAIL! I'm that confident in Martin and Gore group. They should be handed the whole project by SSC. There is no doubt in my mind that they will deliver us THE Hulk statue that many of us are still waiting for.

Hulk is to SSC as Iron Man is to HotToys.... At least since I joined. Like I said there have been 7 Hulks released or teased since I joined up 1.5 years ago, and 5 have been 1/4...lol. I will also agree a Canale/Gore Group Green Hullk in all his purple pant glory, maybe based off the work of Keown or Pelletier, would be AMAZING.
Yeah, we'll get another shot at a Hulk PF sooner or later. Just let Martin/Gore group do their magic. You know, I'm really glad you brought Pelletier's name*into the conversation. He's a hell of an artist and doesn't get as much pub as others do. His work on the Hulk was FANTASTIC and I really think his artistic style would probably translate best into statue form. As much as I like Keown, Frank, Deodato, etc.....I think a modern PF based off Pelletier's work would look insanely good. Especially if SSC gives Martin and the boys the project.
Mike Deodato Jr is the way to go for a modern Hulk IMO.... Don't know why he is never mentioned.

I would love to get a pf hulk from that.
Not a fan of Keown, maybe a Pelletier but I've always been a fan of Silvestri myself. Deodato is pretty sick too. I like that Hulk still atains the Kirby sorta look in his drawings.
