Hope you're right. Man I was waiting on some money to come in Friday for the deposit, and then this. I am hoping people cancel it since it's such a high ticket figure in favor of getting other releases.

They had "hurry, less than twenty remaining." For about a week, before the waitlist hit. In fact, I think today might be the day that the waitlist started, as either yesterday, or the day prior, they were "checking their inventory." You're better off than me, as I still have yet to PO.

I really want the Bruce Wayne set, but it all depends on if I can swing it. I've got a few other things to consider beforehand, but, perhaps, a waitlist wouldn't hurt. I also really hope they fix the cowl, but, if not, that's a minor nit.

Nope. It hit right around the same time that Eastwood figure did. I still want to pick it up, at some point, but I weighed my options and thought "well, which one will I be able to get easier down the line." Judging by what those Eastwood figures go for on eBay, I'd say I weighed my options correctly. Plus, while I really love it as a stand alone piece, I think that, with the armory on the way, with the same faceplates, and, hopefully, the same cowl, it's kind of moved down the backburner a bit, as West is 1/6th, Keaton is 1/6th (which I still have to reattain), and so forth.

Get on the waitlist now and you will be fine. I expect a lot of cancellations come October/November because of the high cost and it being so close to Christmas. People always cancel.

You could always keep checking BBTS too.

I put myself on the waitlist earlier today. I've been having a hard time deciding between the three variations. At least on the waitlist, I'll have some time to decide.

I preordered the Alfred set on BBTS, but now that I'm watching the Batman trilogy, I want the set with Bruce and Alfred instead. (Funny how that happens.. Haha)

Since it's sold out, guess I'll have to keep watching it on BBTS.

Yeah I already placed a preorder yesterday on BBTS just to be safe, but for the money I'd rather get it through SS to get those rewards points. Oh well. Does anybody know how much longer it takes to get something from BBTS than SS? Never preordered from them before.

Also, I'm worried about cancellations because I can't see too many people throwing out that deposit. I'm sure there will be a couple, but not as many as usual.

I jumped on the full set pretty quickly, figuring that any of the included figures would be relatively easy to sell (and at a decent price) if I decided I didn't want to keep all of them.

Even up until the release, you'll be fine if you waitlist. They always shut these things down early, but open them up again after the release.

I've never NOT gotten a figure that I waitlisted, and I've never waitlisted until after the release.

This is just a typical SSC sales tactic to get you to order when you otherwise might not have. Artificial perceptions of scarcity and all that.

Everybody just relax.

glad i got the fullset when i first found out about it! not going to cancel this baby! but regret cancelling the lt. jim gordan..

:slap

Might be one of those delayed HT pieces, like Iron Monger or Robocop, who knows? I already got the Toys legend armory so I'm in no hurry. More interested in seeing how HT's Alfred turns out tbh.

I still think this will come out very early- June or so...we'll see
I dunno. I think the figures themselves will be pretty easy for Hot Toys to manufacture but I wonder if the armory itself will hold up the project for a while. Either way I'm fine with waiting to be honest as I'd prefer to pay it off with the current schedule I have for my flex payments (I know Sideshow honors the flex plans if an item releases early but still).
