Can someone post this Vader next to the Hot Toys Luke so we can see the actual height difference. Also is that the led light saber? If so it looks really good in that picture.

Thanks for the size comparison pictures. Vader is short but the sideshow Vader is so huge is in comparison to my Luke.

Just got this bad boy from Mother's Basement in their summer sale. I've already got the Sideshow Vader and the original Medicom from 2005, but I can't resist a bargain. I'm glad I did!
This is hands down the best Vader so far. The sculpting on both the mask and Anakin is spot one and the talking feature and light up sabre blast it into the stratosphere. My only complaint would be the lack of ankle articulation due to the boots, but apart from that the figure's pure quality.

There is no doubt that medicom looks great. A bit thin but as a stand alone piece amazing. It's just ashame he couldn't be an inch taller. Luke is supposed to come up to the bottom of his vocoder, or chin. Great pics though. I'd have gotten this one if he were scaled a bit bigger. Congrats to all who have this. How's the light up saber? Is it bright enough? I have the UU Luke and its pretty bright.

I simply had to have one Vader, diminutive or not. The new Sideshow seems way too expensive for what it actually is and the old one isn't easy getting cheaper either despite having to be modded for a hundred or more.

I don't know. The New SSC Vader has all the light up features, and comes with a couple extra things. So $250 isn't that outrageous.
Just curious, how much is the Medicom one?
the saber is red so not quite as bright as the blue from luke, but its still nice in the dark

like how he looks in this video.. Still not buying this for that kind of money, he just doesn't seem worth the $ compared to other figures of the same price. Maybe the pics dont do this justice, but the cape is really puffy looking at the collar, he has no neck because of it.

It's not that puffy (in that video, at least). He has the edges of the cape folded back over themselves so that Vader's shoulders/arms are visible.

Greetings to all the comrades who love this Darth Vader Medicom 2.0:
Friends to be honest and accept that this is the best figure of Darth Vader to date, even better than the new Sideshow Darth Vader ROTJ , the costume is not the same as the previous version it shows distance is higher , lightsaber lights and what many say not to obscure the figure are the sounds that have. Personally I prefer these extras to turn the box because the sound of Darth Vader is the most iconic figure in the history or not? What's more is the most iconic in film history fiction.
The Sideshow figure has many differences and the only thing that is better is the height makes it look like darth vader slightly misshapen whatever they say it is so because I had the two figures and is also sold . Do not give importance to the height that alone looks better in any case than the sideshow .
Here I leave to give an improvement in the face to the sideshow is fining the lightsaber just have to sand it with sandpaper to put thinner . Before the sideshow medicom criticized the sabers to be straight and now make their lightsaber like sideshow even wearin.

Medicoms version was a nice attempt, but come on. Look at the spaceballs dome on that. Also, people complained that the sideshow reveal head was too small, what would you call this, with such a long separation giving him a giraffe neck. Overall, I still think sideshow takes the cake for Vader. Both anh and esb/rotj versions.
