I hope a bootleg comes out soon, I'd totally get that. You know how much HT hates bootlegs when they asked the forum to close that Keaton sculpt and several others not too long ago. That'll teach them.

Well the fan base goes beyond just the game. Hot Toys has done their share of Batmen figures, and they've all been successful.

Nah.

1. It is oriented towards the Asian market and US comics and games aren't popular there, but CBMs are
2. Games are games, it is an entirely different market
3. Iron Man is a big hit, especially in Asia

Well... I think that's aimed at the Nolan crowd. Although the AK look grew on me, I don't mind it now.

Well to be fair, that suit looks like a abstract puzzle. The AK suit looks like a armor plated version of the standard AC suit, which is a little overly shiny.
