GG arrived today, must say he is an awesome figure. I underestimated how fiddly he was tho, spent an hour getting him to sit correctly.
I wished they had added some weight to the feet and perhaps some rubber stops him under them to stop him from slipping.
Also i had hoped the electrostaff would have a couple of magnets in it too to help him maintain his grip but unfortunately that isn't the case.
If sideshow are planning on magna guards i hope they take this into consideration.

Any more EX Waitlist conversions?

I'm begininng to lose hope of mine converting.

OK, so taking my cue off Rorywan's INCREDIBLE eyework on Grievous, I did a half-arse attempt myself yesterday. And here's what I walked away with...

I know it ain't Rory-quality... but looks good in hand. I can't express how tiny this detail really is. Tiny, tiny work.

Wow Wor-Gar, you did an excellent job :clap

As soon as there's a tutorial up, I've got to have a go. Both yours and Rory's look brilliant.

I might as well start a new GG modification thread. It will happen sooner rather than later I guess. Wor-Gar post your pics over there as well! and please add to my notes...

Part one going up now.

Thanks guys! Makes me feel better about it. I already want to give it a second go.

GREAT Tutorial so far, Rory! This is really going to help people out. Now if I just had a pair of little tiny hands to do the work....

Recieved my Grievious last night. This is one piece that actually blew away my expectations. I was tempted on cancelling this guy many times, but glad I stuck with the order. It is one of my stand out pieces now. It is massive figure, almost 16.5" when he stands up right, won't even fit in the Detolf unless you hunch him over, which I think is the best pose anyways. At first holding the figure, it felt really delicate and fragile, but after playing around with the joints and stuff, the figure could really pose the way you want with ease and I soon was not worried about it breaking it with the slightest the touch. Also at first it was really difficult to stand and pose, but just make sure you play and loosen up all the joints in his legs, especially the ball joint feet, after I did that he can stand on his own pretty well, but I used the stand to make sure he didnt take a nose dive.

Sooo I received Grievous the other day and he is so awesome and perfect just one thing... I was looking at everyone's pics and can't quite make it out if you guys have this gold spot too or is this a mess up?

Can the sculpt come off, not just the faceplate for Sideshow to send me a new one?

Mine does not have that gold spot. It looks like glue squeezed out after attaching the left ear/fin to his head.

To answer your other question I don't think the head can be detached, at least not easily.

Don't have that mark on mine either. Can you scratch it off with a pin? Or simply repaint over it -- such a small area will be easy to cover-up.

Just got my exclusive sideshow collectibles general grievous . I opened it up and found out he only came with one face on him . The alternate battle damaged face was in its

pocket but the figure itself was missing the original face . They shipped it to me with only one face !!! Arrrrrffffffff . I'm so upset . I tried calling them and no one is answering the phone .
