Vader and Fett are fantastic pieces, and I'm a huge Fett fan. But Kenobi takes the cake, IMO. So much going on with that piece. Add the myc Lightsaber hilt and you have the best Mythos available yet!

that vader has me conflicted. that orange is a bit too much and overdone. a glow should be subtle, but its neon. i think they missed the mark, but what the hell do i know, they just sold 5000 of them....

The glow isn't for everyone, I had reservations as well. Once in hand, I was so glad to place him next to Fett and Kenobi. For me, that orange just makes him pop and really catch my eye. It helps bring out some of the finer touches in the statue, especially the battle damage all over his suit.

I get how some would balk at this from some of the photos, however in-hand I echo Slynger's comments that the orange glow highlights the battle damage very well. A female co-worker said she was staring at the three (obi, fett, and vader) and she thought the vader's was stunning looking.

Patience. He is still quite new and I think most people are hanging onto him. Hunting for the piece you want is half the fun of this hobby IMO, but it's tough to be patient when you want a certain piece so bad. Best of luck to you, your diligence will pay off.

I finally managed to acquire a Kenobi Mythos statue, which was the last remaining Mythos piece for my collection. All the pieces in this line are very well done, but I think Kenobi is my favorite. It is such an epic piece that really conveys a sense of sadness with a tinge of hope for the future. The details are really intricate and thanks to myc I was able to complete Kenobi's accessories with the missing saber hilt on his belt. (Ignore the saber hilt in the pics where he is holding his saber. ;-)
I like both heads, but favor the McGregor head a little more than the Guinness.
