Bruce is fine when he stays away from action. He was great in Ocean's Twelve, Looper, Moonrise Kingdom etc.

Not sure Arnold has the same acting range if ****s not exploding though tbh.

Looks like an a-typical Arnie movie to me. So long as he maintains the age-appropriate roles (unlike Willis who's midlife crisising all over the big screen), a ticket's bought and Bluray purchased when that comes out. :rock

I don't get where the old Arnie hate's coming from. The dude's in pretty good shape for his age. He might not be Mr. Olympia anymore, but, still, quit being ****ing fair-weather fans. I've never been a huge fan (I.e. I don't have any Terminators or Dutch figures in my collection), but I enjoyed his movies when he was younger, and I enjoy his movies now. If you have a problem with the material (some people think The Expendables are poorly written cash grabs), great, I respect your opinion and I don't necessarily disagree depending upon the movie you're talking about, but to those of you saying you aren't going to see a movie that has a great cast and the director of one of the best movies of last year because Arnie doesn't look like a ****ing 'roid monkey, **** off.:lecture

Great post, batfan. Seriously, the hate on this forum for people simply growing older (SW Ep VII and Schwarzenegger, especially) is a bit weird. Maybe I'm a little sensitive, having hit 42, but even as a youngster, it never occurred to me to think of someone at a certain age as being worth less than they were at their prime. The strange thing is Arnold looks better (and has accomplished far, far more) than probably 99.99% of us will at his age and yet people still feel entitled to run him down when they're ~40 years younger. Sad.

As I said earlier, I'm a a big Arnold fan - & always will be, so I'm glad he's back in the saddle for sure. It's just the subject matter for this particular film that doesn't interest me, that's all. :)

To be fair, I'm about 40 years younger (give or take a few), so I can't necessarily relate to him, but know that we're not all ageists.:lol I wholeheartedly agree about Arnold's accomplishments, as far as that goes, I think Bill Burr said it best:

It's not the full bit, but you get the gist.:lol

I'm an Arnold apologist, but that's funny stuff

You can make the crappiest movie look good by making a kick *** trailer, but I think this will be good. Alot of good actors in it and a good director. Hopefully it holds up. I'll be there opening weekend.

Looks like his most promising since he's been back. They showed alot in that trailer though.

Supporting cast is what makes it look good though, I didn't even recognize Sam Worthington.

Yea, honestly, if anyones excited to see this, you probably shouldn't watch that trailer. :lol

Way too much shown. Main character deaths etc.

Looks like a fun flick with a decent cast. But yea, it is odd hearing Arnold drop f-bombs.

Though it was awesome hearing him say the four greatest words put together, STFU.
