Got mine.

1) No missing tusks.

2) No fraying on robe or cape

but...

3) The electrical wire behind his belt buckle keeps popping out to have a look at the world.

Any tips for keeping the wire where it belongs?

Just an aside, but… Did the regular not have an NRD? I can't think of why anyone would have ordered the regular instead of the Exlcusive, especially when all the links from the front page of SS's site during the advertising periods were for the EX. I don't care about the exclusive cut hand in the least, but it was simply the easiest one to order. ;)

Me either. Hand is never going to come out of the box.

I am not buying directly from SS. The collectable store where I make my purchases is bringing in the Regular for us "blue collar" collectors. :dunno

Got Vader in yesterday and my impressions so far. First the bad:Got a scuff on the helmet on the exact same spot as the previous posters, the lightsaber hilt wouldn't stay on the hook so i had to curve it in a more accepting manner, one of my tusks was missing, Vader has pee-wee arms. Now the good: it's a pretty intimidating figure to look at and has strong shelf presence, especially with the monster size Imperial base, the helmet overall looks good, the lights are a nice little touch, the cape hangs and flows really nice, the extra portrait has spare tusks to glue on which is what I did haha. Not perfect, but definitely a nice piece for Star Wars fans.

Ok, that makes perfect sense. I thought you had bought directly from SS given your previous message. Given the staggered shipping to people who ordered directly, it's pretty obvious they're a little behind on production. Hopefully for everyone else out there, they fix their quality control and cutting issues before shipments start going out to authorized dealers.

If your cape is frayed it'll be jagged cut edges and all messed up. My cape is perfect since it's smooth.
This is my frayed cape. Sideshow has agreed to replace it. It should be completely smooth.

Ok. I just noticed that my Dome/Mask head has two scratches down the center column forehead part. It looks like the scratches occurred prior to being painted. Worth asking for a replacement?
