Yeah the coward portrayal did nada for him. The only thing I liked about the cough was that it was ported from the micro series and at least gave some hint in the movie to what Grievous MIGHT have been. I guess they had to ratchet him down somehow in order to only have ONE Jedi defeat him... unoriginal as it was.

I agree about the cough. I think they were trying to do something iconic like Vader's breathing but it didn't work.
Also didn't like the coward but it wasn't that bad in ROTS, it's not until the CGI Clone Wars that a group of gungans manage to defeat him.

Hadn't seen that before, but seeing the concept art makes me glad I pre-ordered it. Just love the design for both him and the Magna droids. Shame about how he was portrayed in ROTS but I'm pretty well able to ignore it, now. Thanks for posting that, Racetrack. Have you come to a decision yet, btw, or still thinking about it?
Still not 100% but i think i'll be getting him. Not sure if this vid has been posted in the thread, it probably has. Difficult to pass when watching it.

Great point about the video. It's what pushed me over the edge to order. An incredible amount of work that went into Grievous. Still love the idea of either two cold cathode sabres with the vibro staff or four cathodes. This figure on display could be pretty amazing.

With little choice, I have just had to cancel this and a whole host of other figures including one of my most anticipated figures, SSC's exclusive Darth Vader. I will lose several NRDs becasue of it too.

I Hope he stick's around a bit. This is one I would doubledip on because of differnt display option's 1 with cape and regular arms and other in full battle mode with all his arm's out. On kinda off topic note i HATED he went out or died. He should've kicked obi wan's *** or at least not have his arm's took out so easy.
