There is no fee deducted from the seller by paypal if it is a gift. As the order will be well outside the paypal protection period of 30 days, there is no benefit in paying the initial deposit as goods, but the seller will have the paypal fee deducted. Just a suggestion. What do people think?

I'm not saying it applies to all transactions nor accounts, but sure there is. I've sent plenty of gifts using PayPal and it's always clearly indicated that I will be paying the fee. I don't know if it's specific to using a business/premiere account, but it's there.

What were your bad experiences?
I have ordered about a dozen figs over the last 2 years from OSB with no problems. So personally OSB have been great for me. I hear sometimes they don't answer their emails, that's all.

So far, he has answered every email I've sent, even during the New Year, when he is not in the office. Wai Man has a mobile you can contact him on.

Every figure I got from them had a damaged box. As others have said their packaging is superb, really excellent, meaning that the boxes I received were damaged before they were packed, not in transit.
The last straw was receiving an opened figure. The contents had seemingly been checked before shipping and the brown HT shipper resealed using the white packing tape with 'fragile' written on it, which they used back then.
It's a couple of years ago since I last used them so things may have improved but after receiving the opened figure I just didn't feel I couldn't trust them anymore. Haven't used them since.

I've used OneSixthBruce for the last few years, and never had any issues with them. All of my figures arrive perfect.
I received a pleasant surprise last night, when i placed an order for "the CEO" (Morgan Freeman) figure. I checked my emails, to confirm the order had been received, and was instructed to check OSB's Facebook page. I don't normally use Facebook, but was amazed to find my order was now free of charge. At first, i thought it meant free shipping, but nope, Free of charge.
Turns out i was their first customer of 2014 at 00.06. I so wish i'd ordered that "The Good, the Bad" & the Ugly set now.

I saw OSB post that not their facebook page, couldn't believe it. You must have been over the moon. Congrats buddy.
As for OSB, I can vouch for their service, I've used them for years and their prices are always the best around, the packaging is superb and they seem to get stock fairly quick, for uk sellers anyway. I will say however that I've had to email them a few times with questions, most recently a few weeks ago, and I've never gotten a reply from them. Which I have to say is pretty off putting. That said, everything else is always top notch and they're still my first place for hot toys.

Hey guys, can someone help me? I preordered on December 30th and my credit card hasn't been charged the Non Refundable deposit. Is it normal?
From SSC? I know they were backed up with processing flex pays since christmas. My two flex pays that were scheduled for December 25 weren't paid until the 30th.
Just give them a call tomorrow when they are open.
