Thanks for you kind comments guys. Glad to report that Optimus has arrived safely and can I just say that this is without doubt the biggest piece in my collection!! It's just mahoosive to give you an idea, the diameter of the circular base alone is over 35 inches!! will hopefully get this piece all set up tomorrow for some pics but for now here is a pic of the box upon opening it up...

Thanks Steve not sure which I prefer...Sideshows ones are not perfect but I think once I recieve the MKVII then that will be my favourite but so far

Thanks my friend couldn't agree more abt the position of the head and menacing look that it creates, just like in Iron Man 2 when he's about to kick some serious drone butt!

Okay guys, the final pics of my War Machine have been sent to me with the full paint apps and I'm happy to say it was shipped yesterday!! I doubt whether it will make it for Christmas but the MKI took only 5 working days so you never know anic

Looks absolutely stunning and I can't wait to get my hands on that gun! (Yes, that's what she said!) enjoy the pics guys

Ant...I seriously underestimated the size of the G1 Optimus Prime LSF it's even bigger than my MKI half scale and that was my biggest piece

curious about your thoughts on optimus. I am tempted to get him and megatron but have reservations about the paint apps and overall "quality".

Hi Ambasah thanks for your question. As far as I know the Optimus Prime has now sold out my friend but the Megatron is still receiving orders with the first 10 orders receiving the Exclusive which is the Bumblebee head in Megatrons palm to answer your earlier question...the paint apps I would score 7/10. While it's not on par with say Sideshow products, you have to take into consideration that it's been painted battle damaged so whilst you think it's poorly painted, it actually represents a good battle damaged effect. However, the sheer size of this beast will just blow your mind when you see it in person...I know I was! As a huge G1 fan, the Autobot Leader Optimus Prime is now in my collection...soon to be followed by Megatron in March 2014

To say I was completely blown away by the sheer size of this G1 Prime statue would be an understatement! It's just friggin huge! The biggest piece in my collection by far! The Prime Laser Gun alone is nearly 22 inches long! : here are some funny pics which include some special guests...we have Prince and Princess, my cats and of course...Elmo

And the base...the base is just rediculous! It's nearly bigger than my sofa

Opt, it really is too big!! just for you my friend...here are 2 quick snaps. I have now dismantled it again until I find a display space for him and I will also customise some parts myself with some better paint application plus some cool LEDs lights around the base

Thanks Opt he actually doesn't have the box any more...imagine how much space that beast took up! each piece has been carefully wrapped in bubble wrap for the time being...need to purchase a few paints and get to work on a few parts that I'd like to re-paint...notably the Laser Gun - which I want to make more black, lacquer the tyres and then add a few touches based on one of my favourite images of the G1 Prime

Thanks so much James Yes! That's right! Danny is a top bloke and helped me enormously when at one time I thought I had missed out on the Prime Statue but Danny put it in a good word and was able to reserve me one of the last 2 available can't wait to see how epic Megatron will turn out
