Yes, I recall viewing that as we toured Sansweet's collection :lecture

I can't believe all the hype has subsided for this awesome figure....sad.

This thing is epic....but still should have been $175.00. :)

No, no way. I very much want the Tauntaun with both Luke and Han, but that's going to be it. Add the Snow trooper on the same shelf and there wouldn't be any room for the probe droid. It does look sweet, but it just doesn't have the same attraction as the other previewed items for me.

I think this is killer, it looks amazing and it's a droid. Something sorely needed in this line! The probe droid was always one of those really distinctive designs that screamed star wars to me as a kid. It was weird and kind of creepy, but still so star warsy, if that makes sense.

The Probot was very creepy indeed, somehow the same way Interrogator Droid was in ANH. The Probe Droid is black as contrasted with the Hoth white landscapes, comes with spidery legs, with a blaster too, and the iconic sound it makes is very unique. The whole thing screams Star Wars. A minor character maybe, but so much personality.

Yeah, I was thinking spider all the way, withe the bubble lenses, but translate all of that similarity into a Imperial droid and it's just epic, coolness.

I bought it, but no diorama for that, it's just going to sit on it's own for me to gawk at.

The more I see of this piece, the more I'm glad I pre-ordered it. It screams ESB and the character design is deserving of the oft overused term "iconic". It really looks like they nailed it.

The probe droid design elements have filtered down through all kinds of media to the present day; and its taken on a pop cultural (albeit a nerdy niche one) life on its own.

I think the base hugger is a very nice touch, and like many have already remarked, although I'm not a fan of sounds and lights, in this case it works well.

I just hope we don't see a big discrepancy between prototypes and the production model. I'm not expecting a big difference as I think machines are easier than humans.

Unfortunately, the price too high for me! I will go get those Clones I missed instead.

Not committing to the Hoth series, BUT I am getting this. It's a great looking stand alone piece. Will look great displayed with the Wampa vs Luke diorama.
