Surprisingly no one notice that the material they use on Christopher Reeve seems same as the one used on BATTLE OF CRETE: GERMAN PARATROOPER, sort of translusent material to simulate the skin.
Perhaps same as Hottoys and Enterbay.

I hope so. Reeve deserves it. In fact it should be used on all statues based on a live action persona.

The costume looks SUPERB! (Much better than the messed up shapes of the chest and cape logos on the Hot Toys Reeve Superman costume).
Sideshow have done their research and TOTALLY nailed the details and shapes of the chest and cape logos on this one and I applaud them for that.

With the kind of attention to detail that has clearly gone into the tailoring, what a MASSIVE shame about the ridiculous choice of pose. What were they thinking? Surely there must be someone at Sideshow who can speak up and say "you know what guys, I think we need to change the pose because it's not reminiscent of the way Chris Reeve looked when he was in action, flying or standing poses in any of the movies!"

Reeve was very vocal at the time regarding the fact that he didn't want to strike heroic poses because the costume was statement enough and he underplayed the heroic stances because the costume was doing all the work in that respect.

Even if the head sculpt was a perfect likeness (which I don't think it is and I prefer the 1/4 scale Arnie Kim version), I still would not want to put it on display because of the terrible pose.

Very disappointed.

Well reguardless of what I have read here, I am still looking forward to getting the Reeves Superman when it comes out, it's really all about what I like at the end of the day

For me I want the Reeve and Keaton pieces to make me feel nostalgic and the pose just doen't remind me of anything from the film at all. I know others will love it and that's great but for me currently I'm just not feeling the sculpt

I still think it looks amazing. Got my PC hooked up to a 58" on my living room wall. Just stared at it for a while. Looks amazing. Reeves and Keaton are going to DP my wallet
