Was so on black Friday. Just watch out for sales. They'll come up. My point is ... don't buy it full price if you know it's broke.

I never saw it on sale for Black Friday by itself. I saw package deals, I should have maybe done that and just sold the game but oh well.

BF4 executive producer Patrich Bach was recently kicked off a server by an admin. The reason? "Fix the game".

DECEMBER 4TH, 2013 IN NEWS

If you’ve played the Battlefield series long enough, you’ve probably been kicked from a server at least once. Whether it’s because the server admin thought you were too good, or because they wanted to make room for paying members, or because you were from the wrong country. Or simply because they were jerks.

And if you’re from DICE, you can apparently get kicked for all the problems that Battlefield 4 faces at the moment. Just ask DICE’s Patrick Bach.

In a somewhat amusing turn of events, Battlefield 4 executive producer, and sometimes the face of DICE, was recently kicked off a public server by an admin. The reason for the kicking? “FIX THE GAME”, as the admin put. We have to admit, that must have taken some guts to do.

On the other hand, this isn’t the first time DICE is hearing it from the community regarding the state of Battlefield 4. The official forums, Twitter, Facebook, and other social media have been on fire with complaints and insults hurled at DICE from every angle.

Luckily, DICE is working hard to fix all these issues, and released a new patch yesterday. “Unlucikly” for PlayStation 4 owners, the upcoming Battlefield 4 PS4 patch has been delayed.

EA have ****ed this game up and has somehow trumped their epic fail with simcity. Who could have thought that was possible?

That's like 2 in a row, huh? BF4 being their second big franchise. It's probably EA forcing something onto these studios.

EA can ruin anything given enough time.

I learned this many years ago through my beloved Westwood Studios. :monkey2

Most of everything these days is drive by marketing/sales numbers. They do not give a crap how the game plays, they just want you to buy it and then the next one 6 months later.

What ever happened to games you could play for years on end with people online? I was able to play RTS and FPS titles to over 5 years straight. Now they next one is out for 60 more before you know it. :thud:
I played BF since 1942. Dug Vietnam. 2 was a blast for a long time. I sort of fell off with 3. A friend (that I play these with) just straight up sad do not even waste the money on 4. Based on his/my past with game, well that is that much more money for the next game....or statue.

Game developers are just bought up, pump full of hype, and then sold out when things go bad. Wouldn't surprise me if EA is dumb enough to eventually cut Dice/BF and move on to crap on something like Titanfall.

Wouldn't surprise me; I heard EA is stopped gun manufacturer licensing in their games after BF4 development.

This is what scares me with Titanfall. EA..they are the main reason i have hesitations with the game.

The good thing, or so that I have heard, it that EA is more or less just the distributor for them and not so much as involved with the actual game itself.
In the end, that can still change if they do not want to publish a game they do not like. :(

saw there was an update and checked it out, it's cool i haven't been kicked out of any matches yet but what exactly else did it fix? same old bull****.

anyone wants a ps4 copy i'm selling mine for $45 dlvd. i hope they get sued.

Battlefield 4 is supposed to be EA’s cash cow this year, but the game is off to a rough start, to put it mildly. Battlefield 4 has been plagued by so many issues, many players have given up on the game for now. We know several who even got a refund for the game.

Yesterday, EA publicly acknowledged the problems Battlefield 4 is facing, and said that all other projects at DICE are now on hold until BF4 is fixed. Wall Street didn’t like that at all, which resulted in EA’s shares dropping almost 7% yesterday.

EA’s announcement was bad news for investors, who were hoping that most of the DICE team had moved on to make the Battlefield 4 expansions and other projects by now — projects such as Mirror’s Edge 2 and Star Wars Battlefront 3.

DICE is one of the biggest and most talented studio EA owns, and the Battlefield franchise has grown into one of EA’s most lucrative ones. The previous game in the series, BF3, sold over 15 million copies. Additionally, EA sold over 5 million BF3 Premium subscriptions. Overall, it’s estimated that BF3 earned EA over $1 billion overs its lifetime.

The big Games are getting rushed to much. That's my only worry for Titanfall that's even been brought forward. I hope that's because Respawn are genuinely ahead of schedule & not because EA are pushing it forward

Maybe they should throw free premium memberships to those affected by all this BS. I mean it gonna be a matter of time before they put out an GOTY edition with free premium membership anyways.
