Yeah my freebie Hulk from hastings arrived with no shipper, but it was brand new though. It shipped from AZ if that makes a difference.

I tried getting it from go hastings but everytime I tried to order it wouldn't let me. so I went back to ebay.

I missed buying it. I got busy at work and somebody snatched it :/

Never heard of this site go hastings. looks like it's sold out there.

Have to ask - What is it with everyone wanting a shipper ?.

Surely you are all unboxing him and displaying him so the brown box makes no difference. Just seems like only a pure reseller would want it to me to show that its brand new etc.

Mean no offence, just trying to understand the attachment to them.
Sure there could be a genuine reason for it but for me as a collector that displays everything they just get in the way. I shred them up ready for parcel packaging on the odd figure I do sell due to room needed.

My thing is that the shipper is one of the best ways to protect the integrity of the figure box and its sort of a "personalized" way to keep it safe, given that the description of the figure is on the outside.

I like to have the brown shipper but if I'm buying a figure and the price is right, it won't be a deal breaker for me if the brown shipper isn't included.

Hey,has anyone received their hulk in the UK from Mother's Basement yet please?

To protect the boxes art work and designs for one thing.

LOL! Perfect! :rock :lol

To me, that looks terrible! :monkey4

Agreed. I thought it was cool at first... But the more I looked at it.... nah. :monkey4

and this is a genuine question with no malice involved.
please don't take it as I am having some sort of dig at the idea

Same reason they want the box and accessories. It's part of the original item.

This exactly. My OCD kicks in heavy with sort of thing. My lizard-brain tells me..."It's silly, just a brown cardboard box...why do you want it?"

Then my OCD brain kicks into high gear and says "Shut your trap, cold fish! It's mine and I want it!" OCD usually wins.

I display my figures and don't leave them I. The boxes. But I need someplace to store the boxes and keep them safe in case I move or have to sell one for an emergency, God forbid, so I'd like to keep the boxes as nice as possible. Unfortunately right now my attic is the only place I have room for my boxes. In order to keep the integrity of the boxes intact I like having the brown shipper so they slide easy into place. If I didn't have the shipper the art box would have scuff marks and dings that I just don't like to see. I like to keep my figures and their boxes in pristine condition because every time I open the box it's like I'm opening it brand new.

But that's just me.
