I can respect that. Context and tone can be lost during these discussions and sometimes it gives an overall negative mood. I often wondered if you guys were happy with these figures/pieces and your collections all together. I never saw it from the perspective that you're enjoyment comes FROM the nitpicking which actually generates discussion about our hobby.

Well said. :)

That's a beautiful shot.

Put the enterbay cape on this guy and it works a treat. He is even better now.

Absolutely love this thing.

The local shop were I put my pre-order in for this baby contacted me. The supplier said the QS001 will not be delivered until mid January. Two more months, sigh.

Sorry to hear that. If it makes you feel any better I was supposed to get this today, but a UPS train derailed and mine was on it so who knows when it will arrive or in what shape.:panic:

I got my wait list for the ex converted. Too bad I already have the regular version. I don't think I can take the chance of trying to sell my regular off since after shipping and fees it cost too much for me to expect to get my money back. Will have to cancel the ex and hope to get a knock off cowl some day.

I've had this figure for over a week now and I can't stop staring at it. It feels like when I first set eyes on a high end collectible. What a masterpiece.

When did it get converted?

Congratz!!!

I hate you! :monkey2
jk.
Grats man.

Thanks guys!

Great pics as always Paramore!

So I finally got around to fiddling with this guy because I can't log onto PSN at the moment. The packaging, the accessories, and the figure are impressive. The base is kind of klunky, but it displays the figure well. But the crotch grabber may put impressions on the padded part of the pants. I'm also wary of leaving him in the Captain Morgan pose because of stress wrinkling.

I followed Maglor's futzing tips for ankle lengthning, centering the knee pads, cape, and closing the gap on the chest straps. The Phil Jackson traps can be mitigated by adjusting the cape I find. Overall, I love how this guy looks! As for mods, the only one I'm doing is xpnugget's suggestion for strengthening the ankles. The lower abdominal does protrude a bit, but it doesn't stand out too much for me to strip out the padding...yet. That may change a week from now though. :lol

I just a few nitpicks. I wish the mouth plates sat deeper into the cowl like the EB figure because the chin does stand out. One of the soft braces that run across the back came unglued when I got it. And the cape. It's stiff as ***** and hard to pose. I think I'm gonna try and soften it up a bit by washing it with vinegar using the washing machine. I'll see if that works.

Overall, it's not perfect and it isn't as "real" as the EB Batman. But as much as I love the EB 1/4 Batman, I wish it was more poseable. Articulation-wise, without a doubt the 1/4 HT Batman is the superior figure. It's an amazing piece to have in anyone's Nolan era Batman collection! He looks amazing when displayed with either/both EB Batman and EB Joker! I'm pretty happy with this purchase. Excuse the amateur hour photos. I'm trying. :lol

That shoulder looks nice and defined there Maglor. Did you do Tony's glove mod? The glove isn't flaring out in the pic.

Yep. Tony's briliant glove mod, I glued down the bicep armor better, and did extensive moding to everything related to the shoulders.

I'm a little annoyed that pushing the cape clips into the shoulder slots left some ugly vertical marks on the plastic there. I guess there's no real way around that issue...
