Same here . Not feeling the base either. If you could at least remove the rocks then it wouldn't be too bad.

Can't help but think the gauntlets and hands on this look horribly bulky / oversized. It remind me of the gauntlets and hands on the DX02 in some shots. I don't like the way the gloves flare out either.

I'm scared i'm gonna spend close to £400 on this and he's going to look like a midget with long bulky arms compared to the EB Batman.

Re: the base.... It didn't do much for me at first but I've gotten used to it. I like it for the bent knee pose... and the three masks kind of sum up the franchise.
Yeah the gauntlets are still too big, agreed...and I don't think it displays well next to the EB either, another reason I have it displayed solo on the base.

Yeah I like the three mask with it. Just not a fan of the rocks. Don't really want to stand him with the 1 knee up pose. I may do like someone else did and put the metal Ibeam under his left leg so he can stand straight.

I was looking on ebay for an enterbay batman base. But there is nothing right now.

My plan is to use my EB base with the QS01 and then the rock base for my EB bats - the custom cape I made is long and will cover the rocks up.

Yeah,I meant the regular version of this figure!How do you know the regular is coming out this coming week?Was it announced?I didn' t see any announcement in their weekly news letter and from what SSC rep told me its scheduled to arrive but as of right now it isn't certain.I HOPE you're right!^_^

I would think bbts will get the regulars the same time as SS would. I don't see why not. Hot Toys probably ships to all the dealers in the US at the same time. At least that would make sense to me. But I'm just guessing here.

Sideshow is the distributor for the US which means a delay from the time they receive them to the time they send them to the retailers.

Yeah Robbie is right about that!From experience,BBTS usually get their SSC stuff a few weeks after them but maybe cause of the delay in the overseas shipment,they might just get these figures out to sellers ASAP!I HOPE!!

The shoulder and elbow joints are the ratchet type and they click easily & evenly. You can get a little ab crunch & twist but not much, though I suspect that is due to the suit more than anything else.

One thing to note is that this is an excellent 1/4 scale body IMHO. All the ratchet joints click easily yet firmly, and the legs/ ankles are rock solid. This body is solid and weighty yet easy to pose, while the ratchet points hold that pose.

So i finally dragged myself to the shop to pick up some batteries to light up all the master light house case lights. Its funny how the lights come across as blue yet in person they are white.
