Finally got to unbox this properly and it's too awesome for words. Apart from what I mentioned earlier, no major defects that I've noticed so far but I did not go over the figure with a fine tooth comb. Won't really get a chance to mess with it properly until the weekend as I'm just too busy during the week with work, but I really like what I've seen so far. Can't wait to see what's next in the QS line.

Some things I've noticed:

- Body has ratchet joints. I guess those of you who own Enterbay figures will be familiar with this, but this is a first for me. Found it a little harder to pose than a 1/6 figure, feels kinda clunky, but I'll get the hang of it once I have a bit more time to mess with it

- on the chest, the carbon fiber looking bit, the left side is a little bit glossy, whereas the right side looks matte. Not sure if anyone else has this problem. It's really only noticeable if you shine a light directly in front, but if the figure is lit from above you can't tell.

- The cape. I never even took the stock cape out of the wrapper on my DX12, but as I have no custom cape for this yet (waiting to see what Tony comes up with), I had no choice but to use the stock sh-t. For the life of me, I can't figure out how to attach the damn thing! The instructions were useless. I gave up and went for the HK jump scene look instead lol. If anyone can please tell me how to attach the cape, I'd greatly appreciate it.

- He looks kind of fat in the stomach area. I was trying to give him a bit of an ab crunch pose, but no joy. Pretty sure he has a bit of ab crunch going on in the SDCC pics, so I know it's possible, I may just be doing something wrong.

Didn't bother taking pics as there's been plenty uploaded already from people with decent cameras and photography skills, and I only have a phone for a camera.

Thanks Maglor!

I think one thing to note is that IMHO to get the best look from this figure, you should tilt the head down so the edge of the mask almost touches that line on the suit. Too many pics I see have the head standing straight up...tilt it down for a more natural appearance.

I like my eb begins, I owned the hot toys 1/6 begins, was garbage the exclusive anyway, always wanted to get my hands on the mms67? (Original release)

I'm healing an absolutely mint mms67 dude :wave

PM me and we'll chat if you like!

You can't. :lol But seriously though, I agree. It's shiat. I succeded putting it on but it didn't look right so I removed the clips and just tucked it in there. In the end I just used the Enterbay cape which looks miles better.

Nonsense, upload pics anyway and share! :wink1:

Just got this guy! First thoughts: wow:panic:
Secondly the base is awful, probably pick up an enterbay one, the rocks limit the poses. Also mine has a little belly as well. The belt doesn't look right. I can't put my finger on it but there is something a miss there. Overall it's outstanding the detail on the sculpts and accessories is incredible. The base is really just a letdown and the scarecrow mask should've been cloth.

:monkey2 Looks like im getting charged i seriously hope it isn't a lot

Errrrrrghhhhhh. How much did you pay for the figure? What you'll pay is normally 20% of the price on the customs form.

Not saying you are wrong but can you show me a pic where the head doesn't look long.

Here ya go buddy. :wave

I fully agree, furthermore the EB body is really fugly.
The proportions are all over the place and the waist looks somewhat feminine...

I beg to differ.

I think we can't really compare these 2 figures. They are both amazing :yess:

Thank you. Always funny how everytime 2 different figures come out, people feel the need to slam whichever one they're not getting and exxagerate the difference to make the other one look better.

The EB is not perfect, but its truly a masterpiece, and although I'm skipping the Hot Toys one, I think its in the same league. Hot Toys has its flaws as well, but the Positives far outweigh the negatives.
they're both amazing figures.

How did you like the stock cape?
