Downloading the update. Will give it a shot.
EDIT: can't access it. Have no clue what the Grandparents crap was about. The characters customization is ugly, like last gen ugly. Should've just let you play as one of the three protagonists

I bet no one saw this coming. Problems with an online launch? No way. Has a game ever had an online launch that wasnt a mess? You'd think they would have this figured out by now. They always seem surprised by the amount of traffic. Doesnt make much sense to me. Oh well. I had no intentions of even trying until it was all straightened out.

I got on about an hour ago but dam did that tutorial take long. Finally got together with some homies and went off on ppl. This is def worth the wait, we had fun by just free roaming. The only thing is, that cops take stuff too seriously and you get wanted sometimes for who knows what! They treat a 1 star like 6 lol

Yeah , I have to say the character customization is a let down. I suppose after using something like Saints Row's character creator I was expecting more. I don't see the need in all the grandparent stuff, just let us alter the features ourselves.

If I have to watch that opening cutscene and play the tutorial race once more, I think I may go mad.
3 times now, I've made a character and played through the tutorial. Every time I come offline it deletes my character but keeps the money I put in the guy's bank. So there is some recognition of it happening.
