Im not a huage fan of Vancie's anikin sculpt to be honest. I like some aspects of it.

I like the narrow ness of the head change but not the eye one as much.

I aggree the eyes could probly use a tweak thow.

I would like to see some modifications to the hair to cover more of the ears and make the hair a little more stringy.

After the sculpt is complete i can modfyi it to be bald. I kind of want a half haired half sculpted head my self but first it will be sculpted hair.

I hear you on the Vancie. that was actually the first 1:6 to ever stop me in my tracks though. To the point where I was able to track one down but it would have cost $2K though. One of the things he really captures well IMO are the eyes.

That would be great. I'd likely pick up a sculpted haired and a bald. Looking forward to seeing how this turns out. Best to take your time and get it perfect. Will it be necked or non?

I think it looks great, nexus photo fun imho looks um very distorted. Let me see what I can do to the image to see what I can suggest.

But main thing is tell your sculptor is to take a brush that looks like a stencil brush and make textured skin. Also tell him to refine hair, I see a bunch of little bits in the crevices. Which can be refined with a alcohol soaked detail brush.

Okay so what you'll see in my demonstration is looking a various refs here are the changes I made. Left Original and Right Changed. You do these changes, get that hair/skin detail done and you can take my money!

(Eyes do not need be resized just refined on eyelids imo.)

Mods made:
* Hair is farther down across forehead.
* Bridge width is shortened.
* Cheeks are flattened more around cheekbone. (They were too round imo.)
* Jaw line is made more round.
* Lower lip is rounded.
* Chin is slightly rounded on corners, but slightly.

(I really need to learn how to Zsculpt. )

What do u think raven about the hair down over his ears more? I like his hair more stringy sweaty looking. Maybe like he is just starting to sweat.

I Love Darren's Anikin but i never liked his hair on the sides.

Could u try modding that picture to cover his ears more?

The more i study the sculpt as is the more i like it. I blew it up big do see the detail its looking nice as is.

Im asking for the following changes

-hair tweaks
-left eye more symetrical to the right
-slight tweak the the jaw bone so it curves into the chin more
-some detailing to the bags of his eyes and between his eyes brows
-bottoms lip tweaks


Im gonna wait to see these changes before i adjust the cheeks and nose cause I kinda like them as is they may not need anything. when i looked at the sculpt in a larger pictures it looks really good i think.

from what i see it looks as if the chin needs to be wider across when you compare to the photo of HC.

I agree i was thinking this also. U have to be careful when asking for changes cause the smallest thing can throw it off I was kinda thinking id hold of and mabey use one of my last revisions on this if it still needed it.

The curve of the jaw bone my give it the proper look maybe?

Either way i agree with u barryo Hayden does have a pretty wide chin . I haven't sent him the requested tweaks i want yet u think i should add that?

well i don't collect PT stuff and was really just throwing an observation out there............if i were collecting this i would say yes............but you may want others who are going to aquire it to chime in..

well part of me was feeling bad for having a terrible cold and not getting started on a new resculpt, but now that this is underway, I don't feel so bad anymore

From my observations and experience in sculpting Anakin, here are my opinions on changes that could be made(thought I think raven covered them already):
* chin and lower lip need to be less pointy and a bit wider
*cheeks should be a little flatter
*jaw should be a little rounder
*Hair should sit lower and go over the ears
*Something is off about the eyes, I just can't pin point it exactly

Anywhoo, this is a great start. i can't wait to see it finished.
