I love the green of the box! and it's MASSIVE! I think even Thor is like 'Thy box is big'...

Wait till you hold the figure, honestly makes my other two hot toys feel like Barbie dolls

Yeah... without even taking it out of the box... I'm blown away by the size. I mean, I knew it was huge from all the photos I've seen, but in person it looks so much bigger.

Easily my favorite figure I own... taking the spot from both Joker 2.0 and DX Jack Sparrow. I'm reminded of my childhood when I owned a rubber Hulk figure(made in 1978)... how strange.
:lol

so appearently, Yuli has commented in an interview that hulk was far more costly to produce than HT first expected... and it ended up costing them money. and that becuase of this, There are NO plans for any future Hulk figures now.

So if you want a 1/6 hulk, this is your only shot.

Interesting news. Goes to show, too, that these things aren't as cheap to produce as many seem to think. Seems odd, though, now that the R&D's done and the casts created that they couldn't just re-release him for Avengers 2 with new headsculpt/pants and charge $400.00 or $450.00. People'd still pay, especially given secondary market prices should be up there if this is truly a one-shot release.

she's just a sculptor, not the production manager. Howd she know.

I'm going to assume this is the exact same thing I'm going through...

It was stretchy, it was like the best toy I ever had.... I can so barely remember but my brain feels like this is that toy too

they coulda repaint it red for next year's exclusive and release like 8-9K edition size @ $500 each and recoup their losses, and it'll sold out. :yess:

Makes me want to pick up another one just in case it increases in value
Not sure the margin will be there with already inflated prices

Having the figure in hand, this doesn't surprise me at all. When you look at the other HT figures for $200 or more, Hulk is on a different planet entirely! :hi5:

BUT HT has to factor in how much Hulk helped to sell the other Avengers. Many collectors bought the set and wouldn't have done so without Hulk. I imagine that's why they saved him for last. At the end of the year, I'm sure the numbers for the set work out well for HT.

Agree with this, hulk truly is a masterpiece IMO
And I loved my Keaton and reeve hot toys, but its not even a fair comparison, even without any accessories

I'm not sure what they could do in the future to trump this one

Not only can photos not prepare you for the sheer size of Hulk.....but the weight! He's got to weigh what, six times what a normal figure weighs?

At least it seems that way.

I agree with this. Once you take him out of the box you're like Holyyyy Shiiiiiii. He just looks so impressive.

It's heresay right now, i'm trying to verify this

she's just a sculptor, not the production manager. Howd she know.

Yuli: Hey, i've got some ideas for how we can make the next hulk better.

: Project lead: don't bother, we're not making another version.

Yuli: oh? why not?

Project lead: The first one cost too much to make. we're not going back for seconds.

or something like that.

It's my understanding that that is the only reason they finished this one once the overall cost was figured out.

Actually a pretty cool action feature. Hot Toys should try it with Hulk 2.0
:lol
