I don't have him yet, but yes, that is normal. Every video I've seen of him he squeeks loudly when you move him (Shame he's so stiff :-/)

They all click in the shoulders, I think it's a ratcheted mechanism or some other fancy term I can't recall atm...

I think its the gear in the mechanism. To keep them holding their position. Wouldnt want a loosely jointed hulk that cant keep his arms steady.
