:panic: 71 just arrived!!!!! Yes this is exciting! The shock factor was there with shaak and magus is the same! I took a quick peek at him before leaving for work. Wow!!!? This guy is nice pf size, he's well detailed, his cloak is so easy and different to put on, The cloak you can do so many different set up options depending on what you prefer, his saber is so bright, love the extra lights on his body, and his ex head and reg head is so awesome! This one is a sure winner! Btw SS QC really has picked up! He came in great undamaged condition! He was packed well but the good thing was he didnt have many fragile parts. So i had good hopes of him coming ok. So glad the paint was done good, no scrapes like ivy, and no cracks that I can see. Thanks ss for the improved qc! :clap for anyone who did not see this yet. You will be blown away by it. I will have him next to chicken leg maul! That bright red saber complements the sith so freaking well! Malgus looks like a very dark and deadly sith! Perfect just the way I want him. This is now a personal grail along with shaak! Wow SS is nailing these right on! Now let's get a Shan for the Jedi!

Great news Harris, glad you like him hes pretty beastly standing above all other sw pfs. Leave my chicken leg maul alone :( hes awesomely underrated

Just got mine and love it! It's also my lowest number yet, 121, for any PF. The lights are the best and really show that when compared to my Talon, Luke, and Maul PF's.

However, I can't figure out how to put the cape on and am starting to feel like an idiot. Any pointers? Thanks!

The cape goes on his back. :wave

Serious answer...
Don't be afraid to bend those iron clasps that come out of the cape. Get them to sit under the shoulder armor.
Look at my closeup pics to help you.

is it just me or is the cape not really attachable WITH the shoulder pads. Explain like I'm 5, please. The magnets in the cape fit great into the grooves for the magnets. The magnets in the shoulder pads fit great in the grooves. But you cannot fit BOTH in at the same time. So do you just trap the edge of the cape under the lip of the shoulder pad??

Are your shoulder pad magnets strong enough to pinch and hold through the cloth of the cape? Or is something else going on under there? I can't seem to have the pads over the cloak.

I currently have mine set up in my Detolf, do you guys think it's risky putting it on that piece of glass how heavy it is. I have no earthquakes or shaking where I'm from just wondering if it's risky.

Check out gasdoc's review. He explains the cape and how the magnets work.

The cape itself will attach to the magnets in the body/back of the statue. You do not need to tuck the cape under the shoulder. The magnet that holds the cape in place seems to be at the top of the back of the statue. Hope this makes sense.

Yeah, I have no problem getting the cloak to stay on. The problem I am having is getting it positioned to look like it does in the promo pics. In those pics the pads are clearly sitting on top of the cloak.

I just messed with it a little more, and it seems if you position the cloak over the peg slots, you can kind of wedge the pads in there. They seem to be holding just fine, but definitely not as securely as it would be if the cloak wasn't in the way.

Ok I get what you are trying to do. I have not been very suceessful myself in getting the cloak under the armor pads. When I tried this on mine the armor pads tend to stick up/float a bit.

He is so heavy that I myself would not feel comfortable with putting him on glass. Could result in a huge disaster!

Thanks for the link to that explanation. Mine seems to have some small magnets on the upper front of the chest area that the small round magnets attach to. No clue on the back magnet though. At any rate, my lightsaber just starting crapping out.

I doubled up the glass shelves, after reading older post it should be safe.
It does kinda freaked me out a little but it should be alright I hope dot dot dot dot

Wow!!! He's big!! First pic I have seen with him standing next to a figure I have. Puts it into perspective.

Thanks my friend, I really dont think he's bigger than the norm. But we say he is big now because lots of pf have been shrinking in size or scale recently. If you compare malgus to the earlier sw pf you can see the size is the way it should be. Look at the tusken raider, vader, boba fett, aura sing, etc. They are all massive and tower over other pf.
I have my chicken leg maul ex as well. I wasn't making fun of your maul. I love that one as one of my favorites! I have him next to maul as well just like you do. They both look so freaking well together! :clap
Malgus and shaak is now the standard for sw pf. So I'm guessing chewy is the next sw pf? After seeing these two I'm sure chewy will be a winner. I wonder what sithlord will be next? Congrats to all. Who owns this badboy!

:rotfl. Yes Im one of those people who is scare to bend the cape thinking it might mess it up. But today I did it! Nothing broke and it feels good! The cape is so awesome! I can rearrange it so many different ways in covering his face.

I currently have Malgus on a glass shelf as well.
I'm confident it will hold up just fine, but I'm not using a Detolf, so I don't know how that will go.
