I have a question for the mod community on the board.

Anyone know what type of paint would adhere to the Hulk and remain flexible?
I have a few more coming and would love to attempt a Red Hulk. I have some experience painting vinyl kits and was wondering if airbrushing acrylics would stick to the pvc of the Hulk.
Anyone know by any chance?

I am not at all an expert, but I have painted several figures. For everything I've done that was plastic, just regular acrylic modeling paint (Model Masters, Tamaya etc) has worked great.

BUT, I tried to paint a TMNT figure that was part plastic and part rubber, and the acrylic didn't work at all for that. I ended up using car interior spray paint (used on dashboards, etc which are more flexible than hard plastic) for a base coat, which stuck just fine. Then I brushed over that with another shade to get some depth and used acrylic for that and it worked fine.

Here is the thread where I painted my TMNT figure into a Deadpool figure.

Just received this figure, even the UPS guy was impressed with just the box since he delivers all my 1/6 figures to me.

This figure is crazy huge! Very impressive but my girl friend isn't impressed.

Hulk arrived today. The gang's all here now:

Wow, that looks awesome. Thanks for the heads up on the paint. Kind of afraid to screw around with it, but I would really love to have another Hulk in the collection

Thanks! I prefer to dive into things head first, and there are certainly enough experts on this forum to help you out if you get stuck. but if it helps, you can always start with a small area, or maybe his back where it won't be so obvious if you mess up. :lecture

Yeah I was actually thinking about working the leg area under the shorts. That way if things go bad I can hide it.

:gah: Going to have to contact BBTS, was charged Monday and received a shipment notification yesterday morning but it's still not showing any updates on the tracking info. Seems like only the label was created but it still hasn't shipped or something went wrong with the package :cuss

That SAME EXACT thing happened to me when I ordered Hawkeye from GoHastings back in December... I chose expedited shipping and the label was made, but I didn't get my package... So I called them and asked them to cancel it for a refund, and they gave me a refund... But two weeks later, it showed up... The luckiest thing that'll ever happen to me, lol:yess:

How long did you wait the initial time to receive the package?

Hopefully this arrives today at Urbansamurai...can't wait!!!!

Well, it was supposed to be expedited shipping and get here in 3 days, just in time for Christmas... But it didn't come, I waited like a week before canceling, because the tracking just said "a label was created"... But two weeks after ordering (a week after I canceled), it came, but with a different label saying it was shipping using "ground"

The pictures are deceiving because even though you know how big a regular 1/6 figure is, when you see Hulk next to one in a photo your brain just says that the 1/6 figure is dinky and you don't fully accept that Hulk is towering over a figure that is, in its own right, pretty big.

I think this applies only if this is your first ever 1/6 giant figure. If this is the case, you are in for a treat.
If you own Iron Monger, the tumbler, batpod and the 1989 batmobile (all 1/6) the wow factor of this figure (as far as size goes) is non-existent. And it sucks really, because you really want that OMG moment when you open a figure this big.

I think I could live with it if I owned all of those!

Unfortunately, I own none of them :(

At least I'm in for a treat with Hulk :D

Agreed. The Tumbler, Monger and 89 Batmobile sort of take that big wow factor away but not entirely. He's so much more heavy and menacing than Monger so he still blew me away. Plus the details and paint are just awesome.

I received a shipping notification yesterday at 14:00 CT and today there isn´t any update and the USPS page shows this Delivery status "information is not available for your item via this web site. A return receipt after mailing may be available through your local Post Office". I don´t know if my package hasn´t been shipped or what is going on.
