Can anyone explain this behavior to me? When i called my local comic book store they almost never answer. When i email them, i never get a response. Whenever i manage to get thru, they never have anything in stock, they just tell me to keep checking back in two weeks.

And when i proceed to contact them again, i get no response. If they personally didn't like me for some reason, they should just tell me everything is sold out and try sum where else right?

Once i got thru to them by fone, and they sounded like they couldn't bother.

I think they hold some kind of grudge against me. Once i told them i wanted a hot toys wolvie, and they said they would get it. I contacted them a few times, no response. So i went ahead with bbts, afraid it would sell out. Did i commit some unforgivable sin when it comes to comic book stores? Not picking up a preorder? Its not like i stole from them.

I got a wonderful surprise today. My Hulk arrived. I was pretty bummed when UPS tracking updated yesterday and said my delivery was pushed to Monday instead of Friday.

UPS gets a big from me, they came through!!

What an incredible figure. Hate to sound like a broken record, but pics do not do this big guy justice.
I was blown away when I opened the box and saw the massive green fella inside.
Hot Toys certainly did an amazing job with this figure.
Those still waiting, I guarantee you he is worth the wait.

On top of that, I got a coupon with a code for $20 off a purchase "SUMMEREND" for those who are purchasing something soon.

Yea, you kinda did. They paid for it because you requested one. My lcs always requires deposits for special orders. I rather pay for an item I dobt want then upset my lcs in anyway.

Some comic store owners are just bitter jerks. There's one store in LA that I refuse to go to anymore because the guy is just such a piece of crap. He got hostile with me once because I asked to see the new variants, telling me I need to know what I want and that I can't browse through them.

I called the same guy to ask about Hulk and he gave me this whole long speech about why he won't carry hot toys anymore and that I should try Frank and Sons, but they will overcharge me there, which he then told me he would too if he got one in. Just a rude moron. My LCS has my business not because their prices or selection are the best, but because their service is the best and the people who work there are genuinely nice and never condescending.

Unfortunately they also lost their sideshow account so I can't get hot toys there.
