Can anyone shed some light on this situation for me?

I purchased a MC Toys Black Sabbath set from a fellow boardie. I received it today and it looks great, but the screenprint is very, very dark... Almost like it's faded or something. If I stand five feet away, I can't see the print at all. Is this normal? Reason I'm asking is because I've seen tons of photos regarding this outfit and the design really pops in them, but the design on mine is kinda hard to see. It's strange, because the pattern shows up okay in photos, especially ones with flash, but without flash or the unaided eye... :dunno :gah:

if you hate it that much . PM fellow member Corrose . He makes awesome quality heat transfers.

I believe he has already made that exact Black sabbath one :wave

And it will be much better quality than the asmus set

Looks great & the MC set looks nice. How do you like the hs? I think it looks much better in hand & HT paint work is amazing.

Thanks! yea I really like the MC set. I don't mind the headsculpt at all to be honest, I think it looks great on my figure and thats all that matters. It looks good enough that nobody I showed it to mistook it for another person, so I think it's fine. The only issue is not being able to fully seat the head because of the goofy neckplug, so it's kind of just balanced on there.

The body is a generic narrow-shoulder. Looks perfect for a character like this IMO since the shoulders don't look overly muscular.

Yea it's supposed to be that way. I think it definitely looks better than the Asmus set since it's supposed to be a vintage shirt from the 70's.
The printing on the Asmus is too heavy and would be prone to cracking over time, especially if the shirt is stretched a lot.

Oooh, I have the MC version and no way is the print on mine that faded. :dunno

I guess I'll just sit tight and give neutral feedback for now. Until I get ahold of a second set (which looks like something I really need to do now), I can't say for certain if the shirt is supposed to be that faded. But it really doesn't appear so...

That's the same recipe I used for mine. :D The headsculpt is a b**** to fit, though, for the very reason you've described...It's way too short to be plugged into the neck peg (and it was way too long when I FINALLY got it into the neck extensor piece)... So it's practically balancing on the body. It's taken a couple dives already, so my new rule is removing the head before doing any posing. :lol

I should have been more specific. the MC shirt is suppose to be more faded looking, but his shirt is definetly more faded than usual. mine is not nearly that faded either.

Yea I keep forgetting and I go to move him and *CLANG*, head hits glass shelf and I cringe haha

Yeah, I think the sculpt is a fantastic alternative. Too bad the neck plug is that way, but nothing poster tack can't fix. That should be able to hold it in place and keep it from nosediving. I ended up going with muscle bodies with necks, so that Stark hs wasn't going to work for my bashes. I can always put it on the Mark 7 if I want to use it though. :)

ok, one more question. for Stark would you use a TTM-22 Slim or TTM-21 regular body? I have my Bruce Wayne on the TTM-21 but might go for TTM-22 for stark because it is easier to find.
