The most important take-away from that info is that the top and bottom pieces are honeycomb structure, not solid particleboard. The back edge of the top piece is particle board and so are the sides - this is where fasteners are placed as well as where the weight is distributed when hung on a wall.

Yeah.... that too:monkey1

I can't believe that I forgot the top and bottom were honeycomb, especially considering as I'm typing my face is always less than two feet away from the bottom of my Besta (it sits above my computer display).

Just setup my shelves this weekend, now I need to fill them up! :clap

Om just using the legs they give you - twist them to adjust height whatnot.

i was going to get the bottom glass too but i think ill just use that for storage. I have alot of hobbies, so theres free space to store it in =)

did you switch them on already built bestas?

I have the 3 box high 2 box wide ones I want to do this with but they are already together with tombo doors and afraid to move them around too much.

Beautiful set up. Because they are recessed, you don't need to worry about bolting them to the wall... there's no room for them to tip forward or sidewards.

But... where are your light cables? My Besta's are on legs, so there's room to hide the cords and the power strips under the units. I'm guessing you have powerstrips in the wall and the Bestas are not flush.

I have the outlet extender that you can plug stuff in on the sides so the cables don't stick out. They are semi flush because of the inreda power supply I use velcro on.
