Tried using a tripod? Even the tiniest movement has an effect on how sharp a picture is.

I'm sure plenty of the more seasoned photographers will chime in a lot of great tips, but for basics, if you're just using a point and shoot, you can check if there is a macro setting. That will help with the camera's autofocus if that's what you're using.

You can also raise the f-stop as far is it can go if you're getting really close to the object you're photographing.

It won't help with focus but it will make life easier for those browsing this site on a mobile device: don't post pics at such super high res. 3344x2224 is a bit much.

I know this is sort of a question of taste/preference, but between the custom DX12 capes by iforigno and Tony Meis, which one generally agreed to be the most realistic of them?

I'm finally considering picking up a custom cape to replace the stock one.

I'm leaning that way, but at the moment it doesn't appear Tony Meis has any listed on Ebay.

I guess I'll keep checking there and keep an eye out if anyone here has a Meis cape for sale.

I got the Tony Meis cape and I couldn't be happier. The cape has a nice weight to it so it drapes nicely. I bought his long version but he has a shorter size as well. Great quality and he ships really fast too.

There is a macro setting but sometimes I get up close and all it wants to do is focus the background and it leaves the face blurry. So then I use the aperture setting and sort of get it to work

It's my sister's camera, no tripod Also, what is an ISO? lol

I can't comment on Tony's DX12 capes as I only have his Batman '89 cape which is amazing.

But I have three iforigno DX12 capes, (small, medium and long) and all three are fabulous. I can't recommend them highly enough buddy.
